Beware: color scheme might not be as pictured

My dog loves it and I would give it five stars, except that the color scheme does not match the photo - i.e. that "traditional basketball color". The one I received is red and white with black seams, so it's not obvious that it's meant to be a basketball. The dog doesn't care, but a person chooses to buy a basketball (or soccer ball or football) vs. some other sort of multi-colored plush ball, because that's what they want to see their dog playing with. He has a black and white plush soccer ball, and it's really cute when he chases and bats it around, because it kind of looks like he's trying to play soccer. Sometimes he tosses it up in the air and scrambles after it, more like he's trying to play basketball - how cute would that be with a ball that actually looked like a basketball? This one just looks like he's playing with a round plush toy.

Didn't hold up to puppy chewing and not much filling

I have one of these that is a few years old, and after going through 3 dogs, it needed replacement. The new one I just ordered was destroyed after just a couple of play sessions and the filling was about 3/4 as much as the previous toy. If you have a puppy or dog with strong chewing, you probably shouldn't consider this toy (I have an 8 month old goldendoodle).

Disappointed

I was disappointed when I took the ball out of the box, it is not the color shown in the picture, It is red & white! It doesn't state in the description that colors may vary so I was expecting the color shown. Not only did I want the brown color, but I don't like the red & white, plus a white ball for a dog just doesn't make me happy

Disappointed

UPDATE: Have only had this ball for a few days and it's already starting to come apart. Was looking to add another ball to my pups collection. He loves the one he has now but I got it years ago and can't find another like it. This one is a great size for him (14 lbs) but it's almost impossible for him to get it to squeak. Even I have a hard time. It's also not as "plush" as I was hoping. It definitely softer than a tennis ball would be, but not as soft as I would like. He still loves playing with it, but prefers his old softer and squeakier one.

Poor quality, misaligned stitching

The sewing on this ball is all uneven and misaligned, making me question the durability of such a dog toy. This could possibly pass as a dollar store toy but nothing more, so I feel I overpaid for such poor quality and will initiate a return. My dogs really like plush balls, and I was hopeful for this to work out. Even though I'm ambivalent to the sport of basketball, the wonky construction makes it look sad. Also, the product dimensions are wrong, as seen in my photos. It's a lopsided ball, varying from 3-4" in diameter.

Not suitable for some dogs

I am giving good review because it is a good product. I have 2 dogs one is a Husky who usually chews everything and he did not with these balls what a surprise as the second dog who is smaller chewed her balls in less than 10 minutes so it is really depending on the dog you own. Well made and fast delivery.

FAIL Product

I ordered the green and brown ball. And instead I got the wrong coloured ball. These balls weren't even made to be tough like it said they were. 1 chew, just 1 chew in 3 seconds is all it took my puppy to rip this ball apart. Won't order again. Thnx for wasting my money.
