Does the Job

I installed one of these mainly to cover an extra hole in my kitchen sink when I replaced a three hole faucet with a one hole. The Venetian Bronze finish matches my new Delta Essa faucet perfectly. This also brings my dishwasher drain line up to code that previously just had a high loop under the counter. Hint: A short piece of 3/4" copper tubing makes a perfect splice connection between two 7/8" ID hoses.

Matches other ORB items from Delta

Like other reviewers have stated: This items appears pretty cheap for the cost. I am assuming Delta is just gouging the price for people who want the oil rubbed bronze color (instead of the white, SS, or brushed nickel look). Overall I am satisfied with the air gap after it is installed. The color of the cap matches the other Delta items in my kitchen. The housing itself is the same cheap plastic that is sold for $5 at HD or Lowe's (Do not over tighten). The one thing that was disappointing was that the base of the plastic that sits on the countertop is still white. So the cap matches great and sits on a bright white plastic ring. I wish the whole thing was the oil rubbed bronze color. For the price, you would think they would make the entire visible portion the oil rubbed bronze color.

Simple ORB Air Gap

Not sure anything is easier to install than this. Matches our new ORB Delta faucet finish.

Cover nice, white air gap...ugh!

Purchased this product to match our new faucet. The Venetian Bronze cover matches perfectly and seems to be of good quality, however the bright white air gap itself shows thru the cover and looks hideous. We are going to the local hardware store to look for and purchase an air gap that is of a darker color to compliment the Venetian Bronze cover. When shopping and comparing this item with merchants, it would be a good idea to contact them and ask what color the actual air gap is prior to making a purchase. Delta Faucet - Air Gap

Used this to replace an air gap for a cheaper Moen version. The part sizing was the same as the Moen so there was no need to switch out the parts, only remove the air gap hardware on the counter top and replace with the Delta. About a 15 second job and looks great with my Delta faucet in the same color.

Much better than expected!

Air gap i received was much nicer than the one that was originally pictures. They have since updated the picture, however it was a nice surprise. The air gap is metal, and matches my delta faucet nicely. the bottom of the cap completely covers the white plastic, which is something other users have stated it does not. I have included a picture of it installed. I also had ordered the Kholer air gap in dark bronze, but the plastic was about 50% thinner than the delta version. Overall very happy with this airgap.

EXCELLENT DELTA FAUCET VENETIAL BRONZE AIR GAP

THIS AIR GAP IS MADE OF METAL AND IS AN EXACT MATCH FOR A NEW VENETIAN BRONZE DELTA FAUCET THAT I INSTALLED RECENTLY. THE INSTALLATION TOOK LESS THAT 5 SECONDS, AS THIS METAL AIR GAP WAS THE SAME SIZE AS THE STAINLESS AIR GAP THAT WAS ON MY SINK. I SNAPPED OFF THE OLD AIR GAP, AND SNAPPED ON THE NEW DELTA VENETIAL BRONZE AIR GAP AND I WAS FINISHED. THERE IS NO WHITE SHOWING AT THE BOTTOM WHERE IT MEETS THE SINK, AS IT FITS FLUSH WITH THE SINK. YOU DO NOT SEE THE WHITE PLASTIC THAT IT SNAPS ON TO. EXCELLENT COLOR MATCH.
