Tyto filtry standardní velikosti jsou 10palcové a kompatibilní se všemi standardními velikostmi pod pultovými systémy. 1. stupeň: vysoce kvalitní 10palcový vysokokapacitní polypropylenový sedimentační filtr - odstraňuje prach, částice a rez. Hloubkový filtr ze 100% čistého polypropylenu s výjimečnou kapacitou zadržování nečistot se promítá do delší životnosti a menšího počtu výměn než stávající filtry s vinutým vláknem nebo filtry s pryskyřicí. 2. a 3. stupeň: prémiový extrudovaný karbonový blok 10 palců - zbavuje nepříjemného chlóru, chutí, pachů, zákalu a barev. Odstraňuje také VOC a další běžné chemikálie z vody. Excellent RO System
This RO system is well-designed and the water tastes fantastic. It was installed by my plumber in about 90 minutes. The replacement filters are reasonably priced and readily available. I like that I only need to change the 3 base filters once per year and the other two filters (membrane and filter 5) every 3-5 years. The faucet works well, no leaks anywhere and the water pressure out of the RO faucet is strong enough to fill up an 8 oz glass in about 5 seconds. Overall, I am very happy with APEC Water Systems. Also, I might mention, I called the company and I actually spoke to a real person (not a computer) who told me all about the replacement filters. Very helpful customer support. Highly recommend APEC!

Actually made in the USA.
I've been purchasing filters for years, going on 10 years at least, and finally decided to do some REAL research on these filters I've been buying for my 5 STAGE RO systems (which I purchased 3 in those 10 plus years). There are only a few actual US makers (officially made in this country) of the charcoal and sediment filters that I can find. Most are for commercial use since that's where the high-end markets demands are. APEC (NOT to be confused with another filter company APEX) is officially a MADE IN THE USA filter. There are some residential RO filter companies that claim or market their filters as US products but if you look closer they are ONLY following American Standards or labeling their products with ONLY a US address or US contact information making it "appear" they were actually 100 percent made in the US. Some get their materials from the US and are assembled overseas to claim this MADE IN THE USA but that is NOT official and they are not legally allowed to put MADE IN THE USA on their products that are shipped into this country. Okay, so sorry for this long ranting on made in the USA issues on residential filters. When I got these APEC (Not APEX which most of their filters are not officially US made) I was shocked of the quality difference like the big difference in the charcoal filter weight or the solid feel and different look in their sedement filters. The price is much higher but I know these charcoal filters will actually be safer and last the 6 months the manufacturer rates them for. My next purchase is finding a RO membrane that's 100 made in the US. I think DOW might still make these in this US but haven't look into it yet. Also not sure if APEC sells RO membrane filters either. Please keep in mind that APEC does sell low end filters that are not made in the US and don't claim that they are. So if you're wantimg a filter that's 100 percent MADE IN THE USA you'll need to make sure the labeling on that product say "Made in the US", if it doesn't than it's likely not.

Easy to install and works well. The packaging was a little difficult to take off but overall a great experience replacing our reverse osmosis filter with these.

I think it good filter plus I love to support USA made product rather than cheap China product
It a good filter Remember to give it some lubricant like ptfe silicone food safe From superlube on the o-ring okay. This thing save your life from chemical bottle like PET that gradually release its plastic to your water when it expose to UV or heat. I used water it to cook, to drink , to rinse hair from cloride water. Taste sweet after reminerilized with some sort of ion like Calcium citrate /carbonate is fine for pH. Or use to make soup that will also auto remineralized with seasoning.

Quality Product
I have well water and before I bought this filter, I had the water running through a softener and a 5 micron sediment filter. My TDS sat at around 8-900. Now my TDS sits at around 80. These filters are amazing. Worth every penny. Filters shown are after 1 year of use.

I guess this is one of those products where you get what you pay for. I've tried cheaper filters but they are just not as good as these.

Make of Good Stuff, I've installed 3 APEC systems for friends and family, Good Quality Stuff! ( I got a cheaper water filter system for my house, and the parts shows, like connectors, and lines, ... you get what you pay for)

Check your carbon filters for cracks, avoid flush into RO membrane
These are legitimate APEC filters, there is an original shipping label on the box from APEC to Amazon. All filters came factory sealed. One major issue, one of the carbon filters came cracked. Its very hard to tell but if you wiggle them gently from end to end it should feel like a solid single piece. Judging by the movement inside the filter i could tell the carbon block was cracked- making the filter useless. This happened probably due to insufficient packaging. 1 star off due to this. APEC please put more effort into your packaging. Note, the second set i received had plastic mesh around the filters, perhaps protection against cracking. Another issue, APEC does not have the correct procedure for installing listed on the instructions. They state to change filters and run system for a few mins- this is not ideal. Problem is the carbon filters have a lot of sediment when fresh and they need to be "bled" or run for a bit to clear out excess carbon dust. APEC's method sends the filter dust directly into the RO membrane which will significantly shorten its life. What you should be doing is the following: 1) With the tank, tap, and water supply closed, install all 3 replacement filters making sure all 3 gaskets per filter are clean (2 per filter, 1 on each filter housing). Clean out housings if needed. Rinse well. Install and close housings as per APEC instructions. 2) Remove the tube from the 3 stage filter housing OUT (Press in fitting end and pull tube out). Take a piece of 1/4" or similar tubing and install into this port, this will be the drain for the filter flush. Make sure its going into a bucket or sink. Regular polypropylene water tubing, easy to find at hardware store. 3) Open water supply valve to filter system. Water will gurgle and surge, lots of black water will come out. This is the excess dust we need to flush. Yes its a lot and its very dark. Run until clear, usually a min or two. 4) Shut off water supply to water system and reconnect original supply tube. Turn on water supply and tank. You're good to go and you saved your RO membrane all that nasty black filter clogging carbon. This is the best way to do a filter change, no idea why APEC tells you to send the flush water directly into the RO membrane, perhaps it generates more sales.
