Smart filter and glue

Just make a note or check your filters every 2 months or so. When I changed this one, the glue holding the smart filter was very stringy. About 6 in strands of glue on my filter. I want to filter toxins, not bring them into my air supply.

Game changer

No more changing filters every three months. Turns out depending on the time of year and location in the house usage of filters varies a lot. The app allows me to quickly check the filter status and when filters are used, the app reorders them. Awesome!

Helpful for a forgetful person!

These filters are a bit on the pricey side but for someone like me that constantly forgets to buy new filters these help!

"Smart" filter not ready for market

I have purchased the "smart" filters five times now and only twice has it worked as expected. Two other times the filter wasn't found and once it was found but failed to pair. In all cases, I followed the instructions exactly as in the app and had the phone in one hand with the filter in the other hand, so it was close enough. The smart filter is activated when you pull a tab out and there's nothing you can do when it doesn't work. You can't put the tab back and try again if the filter isn't detected or fails to pair. At this point you have to try to return it or live with paying for the smart filter and not getting any additional benefit from it. IMO, this product has not been properly tested and is not yet ready for market.
