Very sturdy, but not at all comfortable!
The chair was very sturdy and seemed well made - put together in about 1/2 hour, and everything fit nicely. However, it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The back was situated in a way that it leaned way back at the top. There was absolutely zero upper back support, and the lumber part was painful because of it. This could be a matter of personal preference - I like to sit more upright, but it was impossible to do in this chair. Also, the seat padding was pretty firm/hard - I can't imagine sitting and working in it for more than an hour or so, let alone a full 8+ hour work day. I also have to agree with other reviewers who said the chair is not very wide - definitely not for a big person. My thighs were touching the arms, and they do NOT do that in the standard chair I have now. Very disappointed, as it's a beautiful chair and I was hoping it would work out.

One Star for me but Four for tall men in the family
Arrived today with NO BOLTS. I can not even put it together so my first impression is a one star. Update: I was able to contact the company easily and customer service was excellent. They sent the bolts out once I gave them the order number and I had the bolts in a few days. The chair went together easily and while it was not for me my husband, two sons and daughter in law love the chair and all claim it. The chair is a beautiful, comfortable taupe leather. The height adjustment, depth of the seat and the waterfall seat front make this chair very comfortable for my tall leggy husband and sons. They also like the contour of the chair and the pillow. However, what makes the chair so comfortable for them makes it not for me. I am 5'5 but the chair seat depth leaves me either scooted back with my feet off the floor and unable to reach my desk and keyboard or scooted forward able to reach but with no back or lumbar support. I bought this chair for 8 to 12 hours of office work a day and it is imperative I have good lumbar support as I have a back injury. I can not get that from this chair. For me the chair remains a one star. However, it is a great chair for the tall, men in my family who can not say enough how much they like this chair. I will be buying at least one more for the house so for them it deserves at least a four so I will split it and give a three.

LIKE A BOSS!!!
If I wasn't before I sure am now sitting in this AMAZING CHAIR! It's everything it said it was, Professional, Sturdy, and Sleek! I get so many compliments from my customers when they walk into my office, it's the first thing they notice, besides me of course. I did purchase the suggested wheels and I'm so glad I did, it makes the chair look even more sleek. If I had one wish for it it would be that it reclined a little more but it's probably a good thing that it doesn't otherwise I would fall asleep, other than that, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! Btw ... I'm 5.9, 160 lb, female and very particular about style and comfort.

Very modern looking chair and comfortable.
The chair is very nice and comfortable. And much more modern looking did my previous chairs. The one drawback to me is I wish it was 1 inch wider. It's a little tight in the thighs. But at the same time, having it a little smaller makes it easier when you want to get it through a doorway to move it to another room.

Great Chair
Mine arrived with a small dent in one of the chromed legs. There is a smudge on the back, and the covering is kind of folded, creased, used a bit in a few places. Regardless, I will probably keep the chair. It is a nice chair. Very sturdy. I like the appearance and the comfort, so I'll probably keep it dent and all.

2 nd one of these & worth every penny.
This is my second one of these in 2 years & was so happy to get my new chair & so was my son as he got my old chair as his new best chair ever. Very comfortable for about 2 years then you need a new one. As a heavy person the seat wore out before the wheels which believe me you do not want the pain of sitting down and the wheels crack in half which has happened with several other brands. This is truly made for big people. I can even get the seat to go high enough that my feet are just touching the floor instead of my knees being by my ears.

Not Real Leather: Chair Covering Delaminate In 4 Years With Everyday Use
I've owned this chair for almost 5 years. Shortly before the 4-year mark, the "LeatherSoft" chair covering began to delaminate and peel off both arms and the back. Just this past month, I had to buy and install the airlift cylinder under the chair seat. I'm retired, so I sit in my chair much more than normal work use. I replaced the plastic casters with rollerblade wheels which greatly reduced rolling resistance. Overall, it's not a bad chair for the money. To get the chair that I would be pleased with would be $1,500 or more, so I settle for this. (aka champagne tastes on a beer budget)
