No sword included

The costume was great but the sword was not included. There were some tears over this.

Good quality and fit!

I am very pleased with this costume. The materials are good quality and the the fit is perfect. We purchased an 8-10 and it fits correctly. I was very impressed with the way it looks on. The picture accurately depicts the product. Note that the sandals and the sword are not included, but we knew that ahead of time from the description. I really like the way the wrist and ankle bands look as well as the tunic and the cap!

Fine for historical festivals and to play in.

This worked out perfectly for our son’s Historical Festival at school. The gauntlets and shinguards were too big for my 8 year old’s legs, and the crease from being folded was hard to undo. Otherwise, it was fine. Great service and I know my son will continue dressing up in this any other time of year!

Item unusable as made/received.

I am very displeased with this purchase, the quality and sizing were horrible. The costume was to include a tunic in a length that approached the knees as shown in the photograph on the packaging, and in the Amazon listing. The tunic included in the package was shirt length, barely passing the hips of a child of below average stature for the age and sizing. As the costume arrived later than initially specified, and was needed for the next morning, I had to fashion a full skirt out of a bedsheet in order for it to be usable. Both of the arm bands included were very flimsy, one elastic on each broke. The long cuffs intended to be worn on the calves were miss matched, each made from a different brown fabric. Had late arrival of the package not left us in a bind I would have immediately returned the costume. (Photo of costume being worn with skirt that had to be fashioned separately)

Thin but cute

It will serve its purpose, but it’s very thin. Arms and Leg are more like thick felt, expected a little more for the money. It will serve its purpose and looks like a Roman Soldier, if needed for a church play etc.
