Be sure you look at the second Image on the product page.

The first Image is an exaggeration at best. Be sure you look at the second Image on the product page. It felt like a bit of a bait and switch, until I went back to look at the product page Images and saw the second image. That second image matched what I actually received. A cheap shiny imitation felt party favor hat that didn't have the suede-like finish as written in the product copy. It was nothing even remotely like the first image would lead you to believe it would be. Buyer beware.

The hat I received had a black rim like the bottom pic. But, the feather doesn't look anything like the top pic.

Good Value but the Hat Runs Big

For what you pay and as a party item this is a good deal. The hat is really big though so you may want to plan a way to easily keep it on your head.

Fun and inexpensive hats we wore to a Sound of Music Sing-A-Long!

Hat were just as expected, arrived on time, and, for the price, were perfect. We used to them to wear to a Sound of Music Movie Sing-a-Long performance at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theater and they worked great. As these are "mens" hats so they are a little roomy for females, but not that bad - at least they're weren't not tight. It was fun to have a little bit of costume for the performance. You know the great lines from that beloved movie, Sound of Music, right? ""A captain and 7 children, what's so fearsome about that?" **"Oh, love them Captain, love them all!" **"Darling, have you heard of a delightful little thing called boarding school?"

Very stiff and unflexible, it would only fit a very wide head that was flat on top

This is a very stiff molded hat that is uncomfortable and not even slightly flexible. It is much like the molded 4 drink take out carry trays you get at a fast food restaurant. it would be like wearing a stainless steel bowl that does not conform to the shape of your head. I have a medium large head (22 3/8) and it fits front to back with wide gaping spaces on both sides, while the stiff indentation at the top makes it impossible to pull down on my head very far -- so it falls off at the slightest touch. This hat would only be good for a very wide head that was flat on top. It looks good otherwise but unfortunately it is not something you could actually wear. I had to order flex cord to use as a chin strap to try to keep it on my head but I am not sure that will even work. Update: The flex cord did not work, it still falls off easily. Another reviewer recommended the Sakkas fedora hat and I bought it for $10.99, it is a much better buy as it is flexible wool, conforms to fit your head, and comes in 2 sizes.

GREAT drinking hat.

Not much else to elaborate on! I bought the hat as part of a get up for work fund-raising event. We all had a great time. My outfit won ‘best in show’ which included the hat.

Good quality oktoberfest hat that everyone else doesn't have

Good quality hat for the price. Material is on the stiff / hard side of things. Hat was too small for me, so I had to give to my brother. I normally wear M/L Or L fitted baseball hats, or an adjustable with 3 or 4 pegs showing
