Saved my ice dispenser
I found a YouTube video to follow and replaced this part myself. Took me a couple tries but way more cost effective than replacing the entire ice bin.

Installation was a little more involved than I thought but once I got it in it works perfectly.

It's nice to have a functioning ice dispenser again.
This wasn't the easiest thing in the world to replace, turns out refrigerator ice bins are a lot more complex than I'd realized! But in about an hour, the part was installed and working flawlessly. The original drum was white, opaque plastic and this one is clear. It fit perfectly though. Do yourself a favor and let the ice bin reach room temperature before you start the job. Frozen plastic can be very brittle and you'll have to flex/bend a lot of plastic to get the bin apart and back together. It's interesting that I paid $25 for this item 7 days ago and now it's listed at over $32. Hmmm...

OEM replacement part fits well.
This clear plastic drum replaces the original white drum that was cracked. The design appears similar but the dropping of the ice down the discharge shute is more predictable now. For that I am grateful because there is less ice on the kitchen floor. A parts supplier’s video on the internet was helpful in showing the reassembly sequence. Replacing just the drum was less expensive than replacing the entire assembly,

Thanks to previous reviews for the tips
A big thank you to those that reviewed this product, your comments and suggestions helped so much. The original part kinda breaks after a while, so it's time to stick your hands in the ice bin, but this replacement product fixes that. As a previous review pointed out, put the ice in a bowl and stick it in the freezer, then let the entire bucket assembly sit out and thaw out (much easier to work with and easier to install). Take your time, it takes about 45 minutes to remove the old piece and install this new one, be patient.

Amazon correctly identified this part to my make and model. Very pleased.
Product was a perfect fit for my model Frigidaire. Not an easy install but with some patience it can be done. Definitely better than paying 100+ for the whole bin assembly.

Fits, works, and back to getting ice
I originally was going to order from a parts direct site for a little less money but with shipping was about the same cost. It took my husband around 45 minutes or so to disassemble and reasemble the biggest part was insuring blade irder and direction works like a charm.
