I use to clean my new cooktop. It comes with cleaning towels and scrubbers. A small amount goes a long way.

Effective tools for tough cleanups, but I'd prefer a larger scraper handle

When it comes to cleaning up the greasy/crusty buildup from a ceramic cooktop, the right tools really help to get the job done efficiently. This kit packs everything you need into one convenient and reasonably-priced box, and with a bit of effort, your cooktop can once again look almost like new. The contents of the kit are straightforward, consisting of an abrasive cleaner, ten scouring pads, and a mini razor-blade scraper. The cleaning solution and scouring pads do a good job of breaking up oily residue and tackling light and/or recent spills. The liquid doesn't evaporate as quickly as some other brands I've tried, which is a big plus when you need to scrub on tougher areas. To clean old, burnt-on spills, you'll definitely need to use the included razor-blade scraper. The printed instructions omit the necessary steps of opening the handle and placing the razor blade into its working position (it arrives reversed for safety), but otherwise the scraper gets the job done. The handle feels sturdy and holds the razor securely, but its miniature size isn't particularly comfortable and can lead to hand cramps. Overall, this is a competent kit for cleaning your ceramic or induction cooktop. It doesn't make the process effortless, but the kit includes all the right tools to make the job easier. I'm happy with the results, and my 20-year-old range hasn't looked so clean in a very long time. A larger and more ergonomic scraper handle would make this kit perfect, but even as-is, it's very easy to recommend.

Good kit, toss the sponges.

I’m not sure if the cleaning solution actually works that well or if the razor that comes with it just does a great job, but there was noticeable improvement. Our glass stove is in need of being replaced as the previous owners didn’t treat it well. This kit did a good job giving it a makeover, but at the end of the day we need a new one. There is enough solution to clean several times. The blade that comes with it is good, the sponges are trash. Overall I’m pleased with this kit, just make sure you have better solved in hand.

Works Fairly Well

First if you are using this from the beginning with a totally clean stove top I imagine you could keep it nice with this kit. However if you are starting with a stove top that already has baked on food on it you will still need a lot of elbow grease to get it off at all. Specifically using the razor to get most of it off. I do think the cleaner is about as good as most others I have used, however I don't think it is anything amazing. I think the sponges are effective at working with the cleaner to achieve a good result and they don't scratch the cook top which is important. The razor blade scares me a little with how it might affect the cook top but if you are willing to use it, it does really help. Overall I do think the cleaner would help to maintain and clean cook top if you use it regularly and from the beginning.
