One snapped the first week

These bands are nice and wider than most but the light band snapped after the first week! The heavier ones seem to be doing well.

Nice Bands

The thickness of the bands ranges from light, medium, and heavy. I feel these bands would work great for your arms and legs since there is enough range of motion when you're stretching them. I find the length of the bands to be decent. I noticed the light band was more on the "extra, extra light side." When I did several standing up type workouts, the bands would not stay in place so they would slip or roll-up, especially for the light and medium bands. I believe that can be common when using a latex type of material. On the plus side, they are easy to clean. I did look at getting fabric type resistance bands, but I imagine that sweat will cause them to stink up and require one to throw it in the washer or be hand-wash. Overall, I find that I use these resistance bands for doing Pilates, yoga, or other basic workouts. If your a starter in using resistance bands, these would do the job.

Do not touch your face after you exercise.

Used it just once but gosh, the powder on those things are horrible. I even didn't realize it when accidentally touched my face. 15 minutes passed and my eyes and face are burning... This is crazy!

As I recently began strengthening exercises because over the last Winter I got very weak. A friend recommended these, in conjunction with the long bands, and they work great. I am totally satisfied and happy with this purchase.

Not worth buying unfortunately

The great colors and brand name attracted me. However, these just roll up no matter what type of movement you are doing. Gaiam needs to make improvements on these. They fail as a fitness staple for me.

Can't keep from rolling

It might be my body type or size (not in shape!), but I can't for the life of me keep these from rolling up and getting all bunched up. I spend half the workout trying to straighten them out. Might be a good product, but they're definitely not a good fit for me.
