Heat output is fantastic

This is intended to be a construction space heater. However, it is very easy to screw a metal reflector shield (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V6IMFZ8/) on top and place the whole unit on a table to convert it to a patio heater with the heat output twice as much as a typical free standing patio heater (100K BTU from this unit vs ~48K BTU from a typical patio heater). I purchased it with the intention to convert it as I just described since I wanted natural gas powered patio heater which at the time were (and still are) hard to find. I also find the setup on a table more stable and flexible than a freestanding patio heater; the heat is spread out more evenly around the table (this unit replaces 2 propane-powered tall heaters). Having a metal reflector shield on top is essential to direct heat downwards, however. The top gets quite hot, I placed UniTherm Heater Hat on top of the reflector shield for insulation (important if you have a combustible roof overhead). I love this new set up - no more hauling of propane tanks. One caveat - connection adapter and hose are not provided and must be purchased separately. Not for propane as stated, but natural gas. Otherwise it's a good heater

Misleading description

Description states propane heater, however when we received it, natural gas was required.
