Beautiful Light

Beautiful light fixture. I received it with no damage. I bought it to hang in a 10x10 room with no ceiling light and it does a great job lighting up the space. The cord length is long enough to run from the center of the ceiling, to the corner and to the outlet, which is a plus. I was nervous I would need an extension cord. The kit came with 2 small easy screw in hooks and plastic holders for the cord to hang the lamp, I however had a preexisting hook. I honestly tied a knot in the cord and hung it from that and then wrapped the cord around the hook once for added security. The lamp itself is a little smaller than a gallon of milk. Would definitely recommend!!

Gorgeous light! Don't let the great price scare you away!

I've always read product reviews when making purchases, but am not very good about leaving them. I'm rarely impressed or distressed enough about a product to feel compelled. This gorgeous light was certainly impressive! Despite the many positive reviews, I was still a bit leery based on the price. My finances are a bit of a mess, but I wanted to give my room an update. Somehow, I stumbled on this light while looking for new curtains. Such impulse buys generally get me in trouble and are rarely as thrilling upon arrival. This gorgeous light arrived quickly and was well packaged. Normally, I procrastinate on all things "work" but wasted no time getting this put up. Per the other reviews, an easy project for unskilled party of one. Once hung, I thought it was pretty, but had hoped for the chandelier "prism" effect on the walls and ceilings. After a couple days, I realized a clear lightbulb might do the trick. I put in a 60W clear bulb and VOILA. So pretty! This light definitely surpassed all my expectations. There were a few negative reviews about the quality of this fixture, which is annoying. It's unfair to companies when people complain of lower quality when we're talking about a $30 light. I wasn't expecting authentic crystals or a family heirloom, but am beyond thrilled with this baby. I set it up with a light switch remote and it's been up for several months. I've had no problems and don't anticipate any. The bit of sparkle is the perfect touch! Thanks!

Love it!

The apartment building I live in doesn’t have lights on the ceiling and I really wanted a light on ceiling in my bedroom. This was a great way to do that. It’s beautiful and goes well with my bed. I love that they give u options for hardwire or plug in. If your renting to best thing to do is go with the plug in, yea it will leave two holes in ceiling but that can be fixed. All I did was push the hooks in my ceiling a little bit to put a hole where I wanted the fixture to hang and then I took a nail hammered it a little and gradually made the hole open a bit. Then all u have to do is just twist the hook into the ceiling. After I was done I tugged on it a bit to see how secure it was and it’s extremely secure, definitely do not have to worry abt it slipping out of the ceiling.

Beautiful Bargain

I bought this pendant to replace an old 90's style round ceiling mounted light above my toilet. Although I am a rather handy female I have yet to replace a light on my own. The directions were easy to follow and it looks great! The only issue I had was trying to figure out how short to cut the cord and it took several tries before I found the perfect length. For someone who is an expert in installing lights, it will be a breeze. Yes, the crystals do look a bit plastic but not in a too cheap type of way. I did put an LED Edison bulb in it, so the light is rather bright. Overall, for the price it can't be beat and I am perfectly happy with it. I still need to paint the ceiling around the light but the pics show what it looks like on and off.

Cute but needs some tweaks

Overall, I am very pleased with this light. I was afraid it would look like cheap plastic, but it's actually quite cute. However, there's a few things I don't like that deducted a few stars. 1) the flip switch is way too close to the plug (about 18 inches). I bought this light to put over my bed and the plug is behind my bed. I had to position the switch strangely ( sticking up between headboard and mattress!) in order to reach the switch. It would be better if the distance between plug and switch was at least 36 inches. 2) The cord is not covered in anything and it's sort of ugly. I had to get creative with wrapping a decorative chain around it. I still don't love it and might try a fabric cover. 3) The warning sticker about wattage etc. is in a very obvious place and you can't get it off. It's on the top silver part that holds the bulb which you can see when at a slight distance away from the light. Not sure where else they could put it but it's an ugly small detail. If they could just address these few small things it would be a fantastic five star bargain!

Beautiful light!

This is a beautiful light and perfect in a smaller space or paired over bedroom nightstands. The on/off switch is too close to the electric plug but we resolved this by purchasing an aftermarket remote kit. Also, where the electric cord is fitted into the top of the light, it is secured to the side of the opening and not in the center. This made it a little harder to make it look even and we ended up hanging it a little higher than planned. These were only small matters and overall we are very happy with our beautiful lamp. I would recommend it to my friends.

Beautiful accent for the bedroom at a bargain!

Such a great piece for any room!. I needed to get a plug in ceiling lamp for my bedroom that was chic but not to embellished. All of the ones I had seen at the store were overly priced and I was close to settling for one that was $200 from West Elm. Thank god I found this one on Amazon and it was only $32!!!! I immediately bought it. I've been getting compliments on it and really love the look its giving my bedroom. Awesome buy!!! The lighting in the photos aren't the best but in person its does have that nice calming lighting I've been wanting. I also recommend finding some vintage light bulbs as they really help in achieve the soft lighting.

Classy chic lamp!

Love this hanging lamp. It is perfect for our small space and provides the right amount of light for our dinner table. It was easy to put together, however we had to buy a plastic piece to hide the cord and paint the strip. There is a small design flaw as well. I took a picture of the top of lamp that sticks out and there was a sticker that I couldn't get off so I put a piece of silver tape to cover it. Other than that, we love it!

Very pretty

This was a gift for my mom who has no light in her bedroom. This lamp is very pretty and has a nice, comforting light with the bulbs we chose. The cord is a little short though, and it was a bit on the pricey side.
