The media could not be loaded. I loved how easily these two shoe racks assembled using the included little wood hammer! Due to closet shelf configuration, I broke one rack into two racks. I used the other rack full height. Together, the racks hold 62 pairs of shoes and boots. The racks have two hook attachments which I use for long, lightweight, items on the tall rack. We attached the tall rack to the wall with one hook and rip-tie (not included, that we had on hand.) I highly recommend using a tie down as the tall rack is really high and leaned to one side before adding shoes. After putting shoes on the rack it moved a bit when removing/adding shoes. The racks are easy to move and yet very strong due to the metal rods and heavy plastic connectors that the rods fit into. We had a bid to redo the entire closet from Home Depot that came in at $7,899! This closet redo cost less than $1,000 including paint, supplies, garment units, and shoe racks! We kept the two sturdy double rods, and upper shelf and rod, on my side of the closet, and the original linen shelves, saving a lot of money. We had to demo the old shelving and rods in half of the closet, then we patched holes, and I painted ceiling and walls of that half, then we assembled the two new clothing units. I rested a bit, and then I painted the other half of the closet and original linen shelves. After putting my clothing back on the old rods, and the linens back on shelves, I constructed the shoe racks. The shoe racks are low cost, sturdy, and really functional as I split one rack into two sections due to height restrictions under the shelf and clothing rod we kept on my side of the closet. It took about a month to finish the entire closet because I have Arthritis that flared pretty badly after painting the ceiling and walls of the first half (I’m 77 last August.) We had to redo our closet due to three shelves and rods pulling away from the walls. We did not have functional shoe racks before. Shoes kept falling off the old racks. We bought freestanding clothing units for two sides of the closet, kept built-in linen shelves, and the double rods, and single rod and shelf, for the other side of the closet. The closet is functional now and we only need our new lights installed after Christmas. It is a JOY to use this closet now. We are so happy we tackled this project and did not have Home Depot do the closet over!
