Handyman Recommended

My new 'handyman', best repairman I have ever had since moving to the mountains, used this on a cracked a inside back panel in my refrigerator. After a year and several cleanings it still is holding and you can't even see the crack. I've use this Gorilla Waterproof Patch Tape on many items needing repair. I was desperate one day after someone backed into my rear bumper, leaving not only a huge dent and several cracks, but the right rear panel looked like it would fall off. I used the Gorilla Tape and have been waiting for several months for the ordered replacement AND the side panel & bumper are holding! Highly Recommend!

Repair Tape

This tape was better than I expected. It sealed the area that needed repair perfectly. The only thing I had to work a little harder on was pealing the thin plastic layer off of the sticky side before application. But once on the area that needed repair, it stuck and sealed the area very nicely. It is thick enough to hold everything well. Highly recommend this product.

Great Adhesion Properties!!

The adhesion is excellent so make sure you handle and place the tape with care. Very hard to remove. The thickness is about 1/16". I put it on a tear in my spa cover. After 3 straight days of rain it is holding up like new.

Very Sticky great waterproof seal

A bit wider than necessary but seals great. Definitely a bit hard to work with sense it's so sticky but should last. Used this in my freezer to seal a crack.

Very durable

Love this tape, it does have a slight thickness to it. If left in the sun for a long period it is easy to remove, but there will be significant residue left behind, still great product.

Fixed the hole in the top of my camper

Sticky stuff, looks to seal well. Plugged the hole in the top of my camper trailer, where a limb was sticking out.

Worked perfect

With the recent storms, my patio umbrella was swept up and tumbled and ripped my vinyl pool in not 1 but 2 places. I drained the pool below the rips and then wiped the area clean and used a debit card to apply the tape as directed from the middle out! So far its working perfectly! Pics 1 and 2 are of the patches, pic 3 is after i filled the pool back up. If i have any issues, I will update my review.

Used to fix a hole in above ground pool

I tried many patches to fix my pool nothing worked. Then I bought this it worked great my pool did not leak all summer. I applied it to the outside and inside then filled the pool. I imagine this would work for most underwater things. Might have to retape eventually but as far as tape goes it the best you will get. It is thick and very very sticky.

Easy to use you can not pull it off if you make a mistake so have it measured out first before applying

Used this for a worn out area on our trailer's awning. It has worked great so far!

Super sticky - but the white uses a dark grey glue.

I used this to repair a few cracks in a bathtub wall kit in the basement. Didn't want to spend hundreds on a new wall kit for an occasional shower, but the cracks were large and long enough that just silicone caulking couldn't fix. The great thing about this - it is absolutely waterproof and permanent - but I made sure the surface was absolutely clean, dry, and also buffed it a to make sure all the slime/mold was off so that the adhesive is on the plastic. The top layer is white, but the glue is a dark grey so after putting on several patches, there is residual dark grey glue that peaks out, showing a dark outline of the patch. I have used other products in the past similar to the Gorilla tape where the glue is transparent and did not show, so this Gorilla tape - although effective - is slightly distracting highlights the patch. Also with the extreme sticky glue - be very very careful after removing the tape backing. I wasted a small strip being careless and allowed the glue surfaces to touch together - it was totally useless trying to pull it apart. Recently also used this to patch up a broken inside shell of my utility freezer. The plastic shell is brittle over years of use, and the middle part where the light is installed broke away. I used the tape to tape the light back in place, and several strips to tape up a long crack/split in the shell that happened when the light unit pulled downward. Been on for a few weeks, with the freezer temperature and the occasion lifting of the freezer lid it seems to be holding well and hasn't shown any signs of falling apart.
