An Ultra Premium Product

This showerhead is breathtaking, every aspect of it is excellent. The finish is flawless, the details are absolutely perfect, and even the hardware is very very nice. It's actually majestic in how bold and clearly premium it is. The only disappointment was the packaging, which is more like a plumber supply house than Apple like, there was no "wow" when you see the box, it's more "are you sure that's the right showerhead?" In terms of value, there is no value in a showerhead that costs, at the time of this review, $699, it is a luxury item and you have to expect to pay a luxury price point. In this case, it is absolutely stunning and beautiful, but it is not a value, much like a Louis Vuitton product.

Great rainfall shower head

The media could not be loaded. This is the first rainfall showerhead that I've owned. I had it installed as part of a bathroom remodel. The project required running a pipe to the ceiling, so that it could be installed properly. The showerhead is very heavy and I'm not sure if it can be retrofitted onto a standard shower arm that comes out from the wall. Hanging this showerhead also required that I change the positioning of the shower lights, which wasn't a big deal, but just something to consider ahead of time if you don't already have a shower arm installed on the ceiling. Another thing about hanging the showerhead on the ceiling is that as a short person, I need a stepstool to reach it to clean. I could have had it installed on a longer shower arm, but then it would have limited the height of the shower door (I wanted a shower door that could swing both ways). The circumference of the shower head is large enough to more than cover my head/face. it really feels nice to stand under the showerhead and just relax. When I use it along with the regular showerhead at the same time, it creates a steam-like shower experience, which I'm really looking forward to using in the winter. The waterflow of this showerhead is good, but the pressure is not enough to quickly wash my hair. I recommend this showerhead just for relaxing versus washing. Make sure to install a regular shower head too. The weird thing about this showerhead is that it drips for a longer period of time after being turned off than any other showerhead I've used. I don't think this is a huge problem, but I am not sure why it's like that and the first time I used it, I worried that it was leaking. Overall, I really like this showerhead. The price point seems very high though. I only have hotel rainfall showerheads to compare, so I am not certain on how much better this one is versus a less expensive one. I can say that this showerhead feels very heavy and seems much better built than the regular showerhead I had installed (Delta H2Okinetic).

Amazing quality

We built our home five years ago and have a rainfall shower in the main bath. This is the 3rd showerhead we've installed in that shower. The first was from Delta, it was the builder standard. It was okay, however, we have very hard water and the chemicals we used trying to remove the hard water build up ruined the finish. Our next showerhead was American Standard. Completely underwhelming, but it worked. Then the hansgrohe arrived. Super impressed right out of the box. This showerhead is very heavy, and the quality is impressive. Hopefully, the third time is a charm. The silicone spray nozzles look like they'll make cleaning a breeze. ***update***My husband installed this shower head yesterday. I stopped turning on the rainhead shower with our two previous versions because the stream wasn't enough to effectively rinse shampoo out of my long hair, and only used the hand held. But this showerhead works so much better, I was easily able to rinse out the shampoo. Showering is now a spa-like experience instead of a daily chore. The water sprays out of each of the nozzles in a fine mist, but with 180 nozzles, the effect is truly like a soft rainfall. It feels like the water is caressing your skin. I can't believe the output is only 1.75 gallons a minute, it seems like so much more. I can't recommend this showerhead enough, it is absolutely amazing.

This is a nice showerhead and was very easy to install. It looks great and performs great too!! Also, it is very easy to clean and keep clean. Highly recommend this product!!

Top Tier Performance.

This medium sized rainshower head from hansgrohe can meet the needs of smaller showers while still being large enough to provide an exceptional rain shower experience. Smaller sized heads with less nozzles just can't quite duplicate the rain shower experience that 180 (or more) nozzles can. The effect is a wonderful and unique soft yet large footprint of water falling. This premium design also features a quick to stop drip-less design that cuts off the water flow quickly as compared to other rain shower heads. Keep in mind you might need a new shower arm to accommodate the larger size and 3 lbs of weight. 5 stars for a premium experience.

Great quality, easy to setup.

A leader in many markets for premium fixtures for your home. This elegant and modern rainfall showerhead is very easy to install and overs a large coverage area under. This chrome finished 11" showerhead offers minimalist design with excellent function. Looks great and performs even better! Looking forward to a long and enjoyable service life with this radiance showerhead. Available in dual flow rates (1.75 and 2.50) and my state is limited to the 1.75 rate, and doesnt seem to be an issue on output.
