overall length

the length of these screws is longer than the ones holding my cd rack together which means a lot more of the wood to grab on to which equals a lot better stability

Fine for light duty

Fine for small projects, but the heads will strip very easily if you use an electric screw gun, then you're left with a long screw that's halfway in, with no easy way to back it out.

Was great o get Phiilips screws for wood.

It is hard to find Phillips screws in Canada. The hardware stores only stock the square heads. I just love these screws and they worked well in constructing our project. I enclosed a picture of the dog agility walk we made with the screws.
