Winco Aluminum Pie Pan, 10-Inch

Tired of soggy pie crusts? Try the metal pie pan! Brush the bottom crust with egg white before filling and get that pie crust you're looing for! These are great!

Works as described

A bit heavier than I anticipated, but it's the real deal....when washing it, water will get into the lip of the pan and some black stuff will come out if you don't drain it each time. Maybe best not to submerge into dish water...that way water will not get inside that lip

The product seems to be OK but the written description is incorrect. It says that the inside top diameter is 9" but it is actually is 10".

Bought these as a gift

I bought these for my grandfather, and he loves these. They are larger than standard pie tins, which is nice when you are making pies for larger family gatherings.

Nice and thick.

They are of good quality, however, they will scratch and indent upon your first pie cutting. I guess I'm better off with the glass Pirex pie pans.

I ordered this pie pan and was sent a "Browne 10" pie plate" instead. It might have been okay but the plate sent to me had no upper lip to it so it wasn't possible to make a pie in it with a crust edge. I have never seen a pie plate like this before. It would be best called a cake pan. It also arrived in a ziploc bag. Odd.
