Trimaco: you call it gloves?

The sponge itself is not bad, especially when it is still clean. It is soft and well absorbent. But, unless you put it in a solvent, next day it becomes stiff and practically useless. And honestly, it is too expensive for one-time usage. As for the “free gloves” - take a look at the photo I’ve taken. What a joke! If I’d be from Trimaco, I would not be even mentioning them, as they have no value at all. Overall, it didn’t work for me and I can’t recommend it to nobody.

Worth the money

Used foam brushes that fell apart, but this sponge was great. I was able to get many uses out of one sponge, with proper storage, before it got rough. Gave me great coverage on my staining projects.

Great sponge, useless gloves

Love the sponge but the gloves that come with it, useless. I still got stain all over my finger tips.

I used this to apply the General Finish High Performance Top Coat and it worked GREAT! Helped put on a very smooth coat. The only thing that happened was that it occasionally caught on a sharp edge (hinge, splinter) but didn't seem to effect the performance. I will definitely recommend this product and use it again.

To little. Wow overpriced

I thought I was buying a pack of these pads. One arrived with one pair or really garbage gloves. Bought some a a local hardware store for less then half the price for 2 pads.

White fuzz covered my stained table

The sponge shed lots of fuzz. I guess I should have washed it first. After using once I washed it out, but the little nubs were too stiff once it dried so I couldn't use it a second time (otherwise it leaves streaks). The gloves were nice to have though.
