Very nice!

After a long ocd search for white sheers with a modern design, I reluctantly ordered these. I was not sure what "creme" for the color meant as all the stock photos appeared to be a pure white. When they arrived (well ahead of schedule which was nice), they were clearly not white and I was initially disappointed. However, they have turned to be the most perfect sweet spot "off-white" for my taste and the room they now are now in. They do not strike me as high end curtains as much as a very spot-on design and use of materials. At the top of the qualities I like about them: they are very sheer yet provide a good deal of privacy. This varies wildly among sheers. I tried very sheer taupe "voile" curtains and I could not see out well yet they did not block light well, the single stitch leaf pattern was only visible if you were pretty close to to them, and they had a cheap stiffness to them. Back they went. These let in a tremendous amount of light, but it is beautifully filtered. The pattern is striking and appealing. The circles of slightly varying sizes are whimsical yet cohesive forming contrasting vertical lines. It can be seen from the street and look very cool at night. There are a lot of nice patterns out there, but so many fade to background too much. The embroidery of the circles are denser and thus "creamier" than the curtain material of the same color but thin and slightly iridescent--not in a junky way and more noticeable in direct sunlight. The contrast of the pattern and the main curtain material is really well-conceived and contributes to how the off-white is actually pretty lively, not boring. I have them in a room with medium dark blue walls in an older home with original wood trim, floors, etc. In a light room they might not be as dramatic or interesting. Note that the circles are embroidered, but not into the curtains; I suppose they are glued on, but there is no offending sight of glue or any indication they will detach at some point. As I said, they are not super high end, but are unique and have many of the qualities I was looking and not finding until these. I was really fond of the beat up old lace sheers these are replacing and they are actually very similar to those in their translucence and privacy quality, but these are an updated design and an upgrade, elegant yet fun.
