Gets moldy after each use

We love the look and fit of this swimsuit with built-in diaper. Swim diapers are a requirement at my son's school and this 2 in 1 makes packing and washing easier. Except that after each time he swims, his wet clothes are put in a wet bag for several hours, before they are returned home where I immediately take out, rinse and let hang dry. However, during that time, these black mildew spots accumulate. They do not occur on our other GreenSprouts swim diapers -- they're the only kind we've used for all 3 years of his life -- nor his other bathing suits/rash guards! Every week I have to soak these in Oxy for 24 hrs before I can wash them, and even then the stains don't always come out because it happens every week. I've come to hate these swim shorts. Would love input/advice from GreenSprouts because something is wrong here...

Hooray for 3T!

I ordered 2 pairs of these for my 3 year old, since the 24 month size was getting a bit snug. Unlike my other 2 children at the same age, this little guy is not at all interested in potty training yet, and I was having trouble finding other reusable swim diaper products that came larger than a 2T. i play. didn't let me down! We bought the 24mo ones several years ago for our older son, and it speaks to the quality that they held up through multiple years and two boys. My 3 year old was very excited they came in dinosaur print. We have absolutely tested their poo-holding ability on many occasions and they do the job. Sure, clean-up is not the most fun, but is handling someone else's bodily functions ever a good time? I throw the kid in a bathtub, try to peel the trunks off so they're inside out, wipe the kid down as well as I can with baby wipes, and hose the rest off in the shower. If you're still grossed out, use some bleach spray on the tub afterwards. If we're not at a place where we have a diaper sprayer handy, a quick dunk & swish in a clean toilet to get most of the poo off the trunks works until I can get them home and machine wash them (line dry). Highly recommend!

I love these swim trunks for my grandson!

These swim trunks cost only a few bucks more than one package of swimming diapers and he can wear them to until he outgrows then, and by then he will be potty trained. The “diaper” lining is very soft. The trunks are true to size, easy to wash/dry and super cute!

Bought them again

Our 3-year-old is still working on potty training and these bathing suits are perfect. Had 2 last year and bought 2 more this year. Highly recommend and easy to clean too!

Great quality, runs a bit small

This is the 2nd pair I've purchased, these are very good quality swim shorts. They do run a bit small though, as according to the company's weight and size chart, my son should've fit a 2T last year when he was 18mo and a 3T this year, but he actually wore the 3T last summer and outgrew them, they were leaving red marks around his legs so he's now in the 4T and has some room to grow (for reference he's around 33lb, 40"+ tall).

Great swim shorts

These worked great for my son! I really like the built in diaper. Really nice quality. Wish the patterns were a little more muted but overall I would definitely recommend this brand. My son is in the 95th percentile at 11 months old and wearing 18 month size.

Super Badehose, haben sie mittlerweile das dritte Mal bestellt!

Unser kleiner Mann hat vor circa 1 1/2 Jahren seine erste Badehose bekommen. Ich finde sie optisch, von der Grössenangabe und vom Einsatz innen einfach super. Sie passt einfach super, schneidet nirgends ein und kann auf super gewaschen werden und der Preis ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Ich und unser kleiner Mann sind so begeistert, dass wir mittlerweile dreimal diese Badehose besitzen. ( In drei unterschiedlichen Größen)
