Comfortable & cool

Very comfortable, leg portion stays in place with movement. For a wool product very comfortable non itchy and cool/breathable. Would buy again. Fits true to size.

Great initially but doesn’t last

It’s very comfortable but after a while the waist band gets so stretched out that it just falls of my butt. Can’t wear it anymore.

Comfy!!

I am 5’3”, 116lbs., and bought a medium since I have an athletic build. Finding underwear is always challenging for me because my waist is small but my legs are muscular. These fit great! No tightness on my legs and the waistband lays flat and is very comfortable. The only thing that would make these perfect is if the waistband was a little higher. Other than that, these are worth getting :)

Great quality & very comfortable

To me, most undergarments should be made of quality merino wool. They are breathable, keep you cool in warmer days and warm in wintery days. Easy to wash, and we tend to air dry them instead of using the dryer. Great Icebreaker quality and comfortable fit.

Very comfortable, genius design, can't beat this sale price for merino wool garments!

I do not get how the rating is so low on these! I am 130lbs, 5'3" , muscular/athletic small boned build. I got a medium and LOVE these! There isn't any annoying elastic around the thigh openings. Nice and airy but still very warm or cool (depending on the weather). I have similar style in VS brand and paid more for those, in cotton, than this amazing sale price for merino wool undies! These are better for many reasons. One feature that I love is the waist band. Super comfortable and keeps the stretching material from falling down. The cotton ones, like these, from VS, do not have a band at the waist. They stretch much worse throughout the day than these and tend to almost fall off by end of day. Best cut ever. The only gripe I have is that these are a killer sale price and I'd LOVE to stock up but Amazon only allows a 3 pair limit. The price has even gone down $1 since I purchased them just last week. So, I had a family member use their Prime account to help me stock up! I can throw out all of my cotton undergarments now. I also have the sprite boy pant and the sprite bikini. These are, hands down, the best. Glad I stocked up since they are discontinued. Can't beat the price!

Sizing is off.

Reviewing at the size guide, I should purchase a large however based on other customer comments/feedback I went with medium. It was really loose on the leg opening. Trying to figure out the sizing with this brand is difficult.

Very nice underwear

These are really nice. They fit well, true to size and good quality. The fabric is a perfect weight. I have tried other brands and the fabric was really thin. These are nice and soft, and are comfortable both in warm weather and cooler days. You can throw these in the dryer, however I dry mine on a drying rack to extend their life. I will buy these again.

Great for hiking

My second pair of Icebreaker merino underwear. I went for the shorts style as they were a very good price and I wasn't disappointed. Very comfortable for long hikes.

Sehr gut aber nicht lange haltbar

Ich habe meine Rezension gerade nochmal angepasst: Anfänglich war ich sehr begeistert über dieser sehr teure Unterhose: absolut geruchshemmend, zum Beispiel bei mehrtätigen Bergtouren - super!! Auch sehr weich und angenehm zu tragen. Und einfach zu waschen. Aaaber: da ist die Haltbarkeit: der dünne Merinostoff bekam nach sporadischem Gebrauch schon nach einem Jahr Löcher, und jetzt, zwei Jahre nach dem Kauf, habe ich beide Icebreaker Unterhosen entsorgt wegen der großen Risse und Löcher. Ich bin inzwischen umgestiegen auf einen anderen bekannten Merinowäsche-Hersteller. Mal sehen ob die Kleidungsstücke länger halten. Ich werde berichten.

Sized according to chart, if a little big

I am between a large and x-large on the sizing chart, so ordered the large. It fits very well (the X-large would be far too big). The fabric is a bit thicker than some of the other icebreaker underwear I have, but still works very well to stay dry when hiking, even in very hot weather. The fit is super comfortable.

Der Hosenbund passt aber der Rest des Höschens fällt sehr groß aus und leiert im Laufe des Tages auch noch ziemlich aus.
