Great product good for identifying common game and food fish, has most current regulations explained, not a comprehensive reference by any means but a very useful guide.

I LOVE THIS THING
Everything you need while your catching fish and floating out on the water. No double guessing about what you can keep or have to throw back. Everything about the fish in this nicely put together book- weight, limits, info.. Definitely worth every penny. I bought two- one to keep on the boat and one to look at while at home.

The only reference guide you will need
I usually don't write reviews but this reference guide packed all the info you need to make your fishing experience complete. The colored pictures, fishing regulations for each species and the golden fork rating relative to food value hit it out of the park. All this information is in a spiralbound laminated format. If you are going saltwater fishing in Florida you need this to complete your fishing arsenal!

Looks good
This is actually better then I thought it would be for the price. It is small, compact, laminated, & has a ringed binder. Only reason I gave it 4 starts & not 5 is I am not sure how the fish illustrations compare to the actual fish. After my Fl Keys trip I will update my review.

Don't get it wet
Great color pictures, descriptions, comments. It has Florida fishing regs for each fish shown. I will need to add notes for spearfishing regs but that's a minor issue. The pages a plastic so it can get wet, but I haven't tried that yet. UPDATE: The pages are not plastic, as I originally thought, they are a laminate over paper with unprotected edges. I took this out with me on an ocean kayak to use while spearfishing. The first bit of water that got on it started the pages to fall apart. The pages are now delaminating and sticking together. This book might work well on a boat where it is subject to minimal wetting, but not for a diver. I still like the pictures and information, I just wish that the pages were plastic and not a laminate. Because of this I am renaming my review and down-grading to 3 stars.

Not Waterproof
The content of this book is excellent. The information is very helpful with size and bag limits, remarks specific to the fish you are identifying plus when the closed season is. An additional bonus is the food value rating for each fish. My complaint is that the pages are peeling! I am a scuba diver and brought it on the boat with me the day after I received it. I did not submerge it nor get it directly wet; however, it was in a damp area. The pages started peeling as I was flipping through it. I thought the pages were plastic -- they are not. They are laminated and not very well at all. I am attempting to completely dry out this book and perhaps try to seal the edges in some way if that is possible. I give it 5 stars for content but 1 star for construction.

Great
A very good guide for saltwater fishing. Not all species are in this but pretty much covers what you need to know. Gives updated regulations and nice pictures and details. I keep it on me, surf fishing in my cart. Never had a problem with the laminate.
