Works well for hypersensitive skin
I usually do not do reviews but after struggling to find a serum that my face could tolerate, I thought I would share my thoughts on this. I have extremely hypersensitive skin on my face - pretty much everything except most cerave/vanicream products irritates it. I was looking for a lightweight serum to use under my moisturizer to get more hydration without having to slather on thick cream on my face during the day. This serum works great - it is lightweight and absorbs quickly. I am able to layer my light vanicream moisturizer and cerave sunscreen on top and my face feels hydrated all day long. Right from the start, this did not irritate my skin - never got the warm, burning sensation on my skin that I get with most other products for sensitive skin. It does not provide enough hydration for mature skin if used alone but works well under a moisturizer. My skin feels so much softer and hydrated after I added this to my skin care routine. I am on my second bottle at this point and have been using this for almost three months now. I use it twice a day after cleansing my skin and before adding my moisturizer.

Alright Serum
This serum is lightly hydrating, but that’s about all I got out of it. There’s really no scent and it goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. It’s feels like a light weight Water gel serum. If you need heavy hydration I’d look elsewhere, but if you have sensitive skin and just need a hydration boost this would be good.

Great for Sensitive Skin
If you have sensitive skin that's seemingly irritated by everything, try this. It's very hydrating, reduces redness, and soothes irritation. I highly recommend it.

Arrived expired
I tried the innisfree Gentle Care For Sensitive Skin Concentrated Face Serum and discovered it was expired. I only noticed it was expired, because the gel had a fishy smell. The date is imprinted on the bottom of the bottle and not the box packaging. There is also one concerning ingredient, "AMMONIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYLTAURATE/VP COPOLYMER." This is my fault for not double checking the ingredient list. VP COPOLYMER is made from petroleum and the lack of information on this ingredient is concerning. Although, it can be found in eye mascaras and hair gel.

Great hydration for sensitive skin
As someone with hyper sensitive skin, I love that this product contains a very short list of ingredients. Glycerin is at the top, which is a great hydrating ingredient. I also checked this product on the EWG website, and all ingredients check out - all have a “1” rating, which is the lowest for safety and efficacy. Someone else reviewed that there was a potentially harmful ingredient in this, but it is safe, and it’s function is to help with viscosity. This may be too plain for some, but it’s very tame, very hydrating, and that’s perfect for me.
