Nut Buster !!! lol
These things work freaking awesome! It is seldom where you can leave a five star product review and actually mean it. I went to do a routiene tire rotation on my 15 Yukon which is new to me. The last tech that put the wheel locks on last clearly over torqued them. If you use an impact gun on a wheel lock, they will inevitably strip and you will be left with a nut that has a smooth exterior and no way to grab onto it. I initially used a "wheel lock removal tool" which is basically a socket with no points. It has a smooth interior and it tapers inside. When you have a stripped wheel lock this gets pounded onto the exterior of the bolt and then "squeezes" the metal the further you hammer it on. It is supposed to be designed to do this specific task and remove wheel locks if you loose the key ( which most people do ). Anyhow, long story short, after a few hours working on one single stripped nut, even heating it with a torch and still no luck, we reluctantly gave up. My friend who is a mechanic was with me and said he has never had a bolt that he simply could not remove. I decided to order this set on Amazon on Saturday and they arrived on Monday. Truth be told I didn't think they would work and I expected to return them. Well, needless to say not only did they work but I could have had my three year old turn the wrench! I mean I simply selected the most appropriate size, hammered it on the nut until it was seated as far as possible and literally pulled on the breaker bar. I should mention I ordered a 24" breaker bar at the same time that was also a 1/2" drive because I only had a 12" standard ratchet. I'm just so impressed at how efficient these are I had to write a review. I also thought they would not be deep enough to clear the wheel stud based on the pictures but they are HUGE! I would not call them deep well but they are longer than a short socket. I was worried the wheel stud would be too long and they would not be able to "grab" any meat of what was left of the nut but this was not an issue at all. Anyhow, totally worth it and I will have these for life. After what I did trying to remove that nut i'm confident i can remove anything with these.

Works well when in good shape - keep in mind it's a consumable
I had to buy another set to replaced an older set which just didn't bite anymore. Usually you're are using these things on very hard steel and / or chrome plating, so it does chew up the "fins" inside the socket. Irwin is known for these types of turbo extractors, so these work well as long as they are in good condition.

Great product. I wish I had found it right away.
This product worked flawlessly. I already knew about Irwin, but I had never heard of this tool... Long story short, I bought a used motorcycle and the oil drain plug made of aluminum was all rounded up. I had to go to the parts catalog to find out the size. For several days I tried everything I could think of. Asked around for advise with no luck. After many attempts and a lot of frustration I didn't know what to do anymore. By now the bolt head was just about gone... One night I started Googleing "damage bolt extraction" and a YouTube link popped up. It was a short demo video of a guy using this extractor. It looked really easy... At this point I thought even if it had been harder to for me to use, It would have been ok... I just wanted this plug outa there. I found the right size thru Amazon and ordered. Well, when the tool arrived, I took it to the garage right away. I used it with a breaker bar... I honestly spent more time opening the two boxes and removing the cellophane wrap than I did removing my plug. I took the size that was a bit too small for my chewed up plug and gently hammered it onto the plug. Got a tight fit that way. Then I took my 18 inch breaker bar and voila! The plug came right out without damaging the engine. I still can't believe I spent all that time trying to remove that plug before I had the tool. So, if you have a messed up bolt and you've been trying hard to get it out... Stop right now before you make it worse and wait for Fedex. You won't regret it. Just make sure you buy a set with the correct size extractor and at least two sizes smaller. That's what I needed to get a tight fit on the little bit of plug I had left. Good luck.

Only solution to crappy lugnuts
I, like many, was stuck with the terrible lugs on some Ford and Chrysler products (in my case, a Chrysler town and country). Regular lug wrench would not fit anymore as the lugs swelled beyond their original19mm size, and my impact rounded the head on the cheap brittle outer coating. Used the 21mm size to rip the outer coating off, and the 19mm size, with a 36 inch breaker bar and some penetrating oil, heat, and a lot of patience, to finally break the badly rusted inner nut free. I have used the smaller Irwin extractors for various chassis and exhaust bolts and they have been a lifesaver. The bite into the bolt the more you twist. I have yet to find something they won't remove. The biggest thing to be aware of is that they will sometimes bite hard enough to snap the head off the bolt if you aren't patient and the bolt is badly seized. This was my first time using the bigger lug set and they are well worth having around.

I feel kinda stupid for having worked so long and so hard on something that just needed me to buy the right tool for the job.
Spent an entire day with an impact wrench and liquid wrench trying to get a lug nut off that was way over-tightened and had fused to the recessed aluminum wheel. The standard impact socket finally destroyed the acorn cap and without that extra layer the socket wouldn't fit anymore and lug nut rounded off completely smooth. I finally gave up and bought this Irwin kit. It took the lug nut off before the delivery guy could even reach the end of the street. It came off so quick and easy (less than 2 seconds) that I thought it had lost it's bite and was just spinning but when I pulled the tool back the lug was off and in the socket. It had such a good bite on the lug nut that it took me about 20 minutes to get the lug nut out of the tool. I feel kinda stupid for having worked so long and so hard on something that just needed me to buy the right tool for the job.

Brilliant
A bit pricey, but as I paid less than the RRP I,m happy enough. With the ten piece set that I've had for years and have had great success with, now that I've added this set there won't be much that can't be undone.

Not as hard as expected
Not the hardened steel I expected, deformed on first use, would not recommend these.

This tool works!!
I tapped it on the rounded head Ox2 sensor, applied some release All, used my extra long 1/2" ratchet. SNAP, it released tge sensor and after a few hard turns, it came out. Not a scratch on the tool. Amazing quality!!

An amazing tool a mechanic must have.
I was searching online looking for a way to takeoff the lock Lugnuts of my wife’s car. Because the key was not working because the Lugnuts were on too tight. At 3 o’clock in the morning Sunday, November 18. I was searching for information on YouTube and I seen this socket set. A mechanic was giving a tutorial about using the socket on strip Lugnuts. I said why not I looked at it seem quite easy I ordered it by 5:30 pm Sunday afternoon I received it 15 minutes later I was in my garage taking off the Lugnuts off my wife’s car so I absolutely recommend this to anybody who is having problems taking off their Lugnuts off definitely a five-star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Made in the USA
Good to see American made tools, Irwin is going to China to make lower prices tools which are poorly made, nice to see these are made in the USA
