These pants look great. I took sizing advice from the reviews- my son is between a 12-14 slim, so I ordered a size 16. These fit perfectly.

Description Misleading, Good Pants

Perspective: I am a 5'0 adult man who frequently buys children's formal clothing, specifically for my desk job. I bought these in size 18 due to a stockier build and had them hemmed. The percentages of wool/poly listed are wrong. Per the tag, the garment is 10% wool, 90% polyester. However, the material does not feel cheap even with the high percentage of polyester, added bonus of machine wash-ability. There is a micro herringbone pattern to these fabric that the images do not display, which looks nice and is only noticeable if one is looking very closely. As other reviews have said, the pants are tightly cut in the thigh area. Additionally, the pockets are not scaled up in the larger sizes, and an average cell phone (A pixel 3 for reference) or standard pen will not fit securely and out of sight. The pants are as expected for this price.

Nice pants but snug waist compared to other size 12

These are nice wool blend pants and very stylish with slim fit so there are not the baggy legs you find in some pants. My son is a size 12 and very thin, but the waist was still a bit snug and slightly short for his below average height. You may want to consider sizing up for these pants as we are doing.

Nice material, but skinny

Super skinny pants, even for my skinny son--but he likes them and wears them when he needs to dress up. Material is way WAY better than the typical polyester found in most kids dress pants. Just wish they were a little wider in the leg.

Great quality, beautiful color. Way too small. Order at least two sizes up.

Great pant. Beautiful color. Much smaller than the real size. I order at least two sizes up (my 12 year old, who is 5 feet tall orders a size 18).

Nice pants!!

These pants fit very nicely and true to size. They are nice and light weight too. We bought a pair last year for a wedding and they looked so nice that we bought the next size up this year to wear for Graduation.

Poor fit, very tight cut at thighs

These run really narrow. My kid is a slim 12, I ordered a 16 after reading the reviews. While the length and waist is fine (for a 12 year old) they still look a bit like skinny jeans... not a good look for smart dress pants but we only need them for school uniform. The material seems good quality though, so I'm giving it three stars.
