Great light weight hiking shoe

Just completed a 7 mi mountain hike in my new Nixis hiking boot. Typical Keens, they needed no breaking in and was totally awed by their light weight but tuff response on a 800 ft elevation gain. In the past, I have replace the insoles with my new boots, but the Nixis insoles had excellent heel thickness. I wear a 6.5 shoe, but always order size 7 which allows for thicker socks in the winter and feet swelling on hotter summer hikes. Sizing is consistent with my past Keen hiking boots. The shoe laces surprisingly stayed tightly tied. The soles hugged the granite rocks going up and down the rock face. (In the photo I did 3 tests, each 20 seconds “holds” with no slippage). Keen boots have given me an avg of 1000 (mountain) miles before the internal structure breaks down, so I’m curious to see both the mileage and fabric wear on these shoes. Also, note, I have no foot issues so I cannot speak for those who need arch support, over pronate, supination, nor issues with wide feet. The toe area does provide ample room and the heel gave snug support for my narrow feet. Light weight compared to my mid Voyageurs! Happy hiking!!

Comfort and durability

Keens have always been high quality and last for years. These are the same. Nice wide toe box for comfort on long walks/hikes. Stable feel, cushioning and arch support inside is perfect. Nice looking too. I get compliments on them. Highly recommend.

Half size too big for my standard 8 but super comfy!

I wish these would have fit. I'm a solid 8 in this brand, usually, but these were off. Other than the too big, they were amazing. Great quality. Super comfy. But the ease of return on here makes it easy also!

Very comfortable

I bought these for the color, keeping them for the comfort. They aren’t as wide as the presido shoe, but still work very well for me. I wear this with powerstep orthotics, feel like I could walk forever.

Another winner from Keen!

Keen is my go to first brand for all outdoor shoes. These are wonderfully light weight and fit comfortably from the first steps. I've worn them numbers of times now and as from the first walk, they're like old, reliable friends. I can wear them for hours and hours without any discomfort; in fact, I forget they are on. Happy feet! one observation which doesn't interfere with my rating, they are a teeny bit wider in the toe box even with a thick sock.

Comfortable and Well Constructed

These shoes are one of the most comfortable walkers I've ever owned. I'd give them 5 stars but the shoe laces are dreadful. They simply don't stay tied. It's a pain to buy new laces or double knot the ones they come with. Otherwise they are perfect - well constructed and attractive.

Happy toes, comfy shoes

When painting a room I tend to wear old shoes. Sadly, all the old shoes I tried pinched my toes and felt uncomfortable. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a pair of Keens, proven to be toe friendly with a roomy toe box. Oh!! What joy when I tried these on. Like walking on air. The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Toes happy, feet in comfort, exceptional price and, best of all, not a single bit of paint on these beauties!!

めちゃくちゃ履きやすかったです。足が包み込まれている感があり、歩くのが楽しくなりそうです。トレッキング用ですが、タウンユースに使えるデザインで人と被らず歩きやすいという素晴らしい品です。夏でも通気性が高いので、蒸れにくいです。
