Very happy with my purchase

This lamp look perfect in its space. Clean, simple, natural design - good height - balanced white shade - blends beautifully with its placement on a side-table in my "study"/office - lovely soft light. As I read in reviews, the 3-level light bulb I was told I could use only gives me one brightness level but okay, I like it anyway. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Beautiful and unique!

I had been looking at these lamps for a few months and finally went ahead and bought them. I had read all the reviews and decided to just bite the bullet since I couldn’t find anything like it for under $300. I bought 2 for the living room and like others have said, 1 came green slate and 1 came brown. They came the same day, 1 from FedEx and the other from UPS which I found a bit odd, but I’m assuming they came from different locations which may explain the color differences. I would have given them 5 stars BUT, like other reviewers, the 3 way only works on 1. I’m not sending them back for that either, it’s a $5 and 10 minute fix to put in a new one. They’re beautiful, unique and don’t take up a lot of table space.

Lovely Lamp

I bought this lamp to replace a very old desk lamp. This is a lovely lamp. The slate is beautiful. It was securely packed by manufacturer and Amazon. Easy to assemble. The 3-way feature is a plus in our dark den. I wonder if there is a 3-way green bulb? Very reasonable price and heavy and sturdy enough that rampaging cats can't knock it off desk. Very pleased with my purchase. A year later and this has become our favorite lamp--hard to find 3-way bulbs that work with it, but still a great purchase at a great price.

I purchased a pair. They arrived undamaged. I love the natural slate which has natural color variations of tan/brown and bluish grey. They are heavy, seem solidly built. The black parts look hand painted. They look great with the black asian style furniture in the room. My complaint is the same as with another set of lamps I bought from this seller: they are advertised as three-way sockets but are not. The shade looks off white when turned off but when the light is on they are significantly darker. If you want white you will have to switch out the shade. I added a washer under the finial to make the shade sit more firmly. Overall they seem like a good value for the price.

Factory defect/childlike

The lamp looks good with the exception of the base. Uneven black paint all around the base of the stone, first thing your eyes see, a kid could color better than that. I ordered 2 and both were bad!

This lamp is terrific. The first one I received must have been a damaged return from someone that was inadvertently sent to me. Customer service at Amazon shipped a replacement lamp. ( That is the one that is terrific!) The slate is beautiful. The three-way option is a major plus. The shade I received is very nice. The lamp has black accents on the base and top of the slate. This is a very heavy lamp. I expected someone who has impeccable taste to have a negative comment when he saw this lamp. He thought it was gorgeous. I don't know if I would say gorgeous, but it is a cool lamp for sure.

Beautiful and good quality

Looks exactly like on the picture. It’s an elegant lamp with beautiful natural stone. Very well packaged and easy to assemble. The light bulb is provided though it does NOT work as 3way as advertised. Overall it’s a beautiful and good quality lamp. I use it on my bedroom on the nightstand.

Better than expected

This is a very nice lamp for the price. It is substantial in terms of weight and looks quite fine in our living room. Thinking of getting a twin for it.

Slick slate lamps

Nice lamps but took two orders and a return in order to get two lamps the same. Then noticed shades were different colour. The slate is very nice and overall a great valur for the price. Fast shipment as always with Amazon.
