I changed how our was assembled

It's very nice a sturdy for a cat under 10 pounds, anything more and it shakes, my 16 pound cat is afraid of it. I put the bed on top and cut the spare tubes sent with it to make it stay on. I put it on my dresser in front of the window and have weeks under it, so I did not lose storage space under it.

Exactly what I needed for the moment

I have an outside cat that I stopped letting her go outside because it became too risky with roaming cats, pandemic etc. In fact she got into 2 nasty cat fights of which one required a vet visit before I accepted the reality that she couldnt go out any more. She was not a happy camper as she had always been a very independent cat who went out on her own. I looked at tons of catios both expensive and cheap before I decided to try Kitty City 2 way tunnel and cubes. I made the decision based on my lifestyle and the kitties. I also decided on Kitty City because it seemed as if the netting was sturdy, it was easy to put tgether, and I would be able to put one end of the tunnel into my pet door attached to my screen door. All of this was true. Plus the price was reasonable. I didnot want any costly mistakes my budget could not handle:-) plus you can add on additional pieces. My cat took to the two way tunnel very well but I thought it was kind of short and not stimulating enough for an ex-outside cat. Advertised pictures always seem to make items look bigger.:-) . I purchased another 2 way tunnel and bingo my cat was more comfortable but keep in mind you can only attached tunnel to cube to tunnel meaning you can have some spare pieces. Also if you have a full size(my cat is medium)cat there is not much room for them to sit up. I solved that problem by sewing (one of the cubes I couldn't use without another tunnel) on top of the last cube. It might sound like a lot but it was simple. The cat is mostly satisfied as this solution is better than being cooped up. She has not gotten out or tore the netting. She tried once but it held up. The customer service was very helpful and patient and e-mailed me several times to answer questions. Thank you Kitty City! You have solved my issue for the moment until I decide if I want a more permanent structure or add on to this one.

Lifesaver

This has saved our life! Our cat is always wanting to go outside! This has allowed him to be out there safely. He can watch the birds and have a great time. The mesh is really sturdy, I’m pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical at first, but it’s great. He hasn’t tried to claw out of it either.

Recomendable pero acaba de triplicar su precio

No es tan fácil de armar como lo muestran los tutoriales en youtube, se requiere algo de fuerza para que quede estable. Una vez armado resiste un gato pesado muy bien. Está muy interesante el concepto de poder armar los muebles propios porque se interconectan las partes. Sin embargo, ahora que estoy volviendo a revisar para adquirir más piezas veo que el precio se ha triplicado (de $392 a $1230 MXN) en el transcurso de unas semanas sin razón aparente, lo cual no es una práctica ética obviamente

Steel Claw is misleading. Piece of junk.

Steel claw sleeper bed? So I thought I was getting a steel frame and searched the ad for otherwise. Shows up and it’s weak plastic. Moon you is cheaply seen on. Cats ripped it off in the first day. No instruction manual or any paperwork of any kind. The top has exposed Velcro for what purpose? To attach moree things? At least provide some fabric to cover these exposed sharp Velcro’s if the person decides that this is the only thing they wanna purchase..... now the Velcro just poke my cats and collect a ton of hair. Such a piece of junk and a very misleading name. Do not buy.

Igualito al modelo de la foto

Tengo gatos grandes y quedó perfecto para su tamaño, abajo es más cálido y arriba fresco, es de lona delgada pero resistente y muy bien distribuido el peso cuando se suben por lo que no corren peligro y no ladea, de muy bajo peso y fácil de armar, si lo recomiendo.

Esta excelente, era justo lo que buscaba, mi gatita lo super amo, solo le puse un cojinsito encima porque tiene unos velcros pero nada grave, se cubren con una cobijita o cojinsito y listo.

Wouldn't recommend it.

I'm disappointed. Much smaller than expected. The top is thin fabric attached on one side only by velcro. My cat jumped on it and the velcro detached ( even though I made sure to properly attach it) my cat is small size....he doesn't come near it now. The bottom bed is small and isn't soft at all. It's not worth its price.
