A good fit
My cat has recently been very curious about the outside world and even ran out the door once. We bought this harness to give her a taste of the outside world while keeping her safe. She's never worn anything but a collar, so we started slow and put the harness on her for a few minutes a day, letting her walk around the house. At first, she fell over like it was the heaviest thing ever, but within a few days she was walking almost normal. Then, we attached the leash and walked around the house with her, holding the leash. Once she got used to crazy humans following her around the house, we brought her outside. We take her out about once a week and we always hold the leash while she explores. She rarely leaves the porch, but the little trips outside have stopped her from running outside between our legs as we enter the house. The harness fits snugly on my 11 pound cat, but it does have a tendency to slide to one side as she moves. Because we stay close to her, it's easy enough to fix. The leash could be a little longer, but it's probably a good thing to keep her close, just in case she gets spooked. Even with the harness snug, she could probably wiggle out of the harness if she really wanted to. It seems to be a good quality and the fish clips are very cute.

Love it!
Perfect for my rather small adult cat who escaped once without a harness. Found her safe and sound after 15 days but that will never happen again. The harness has two places for adjustment - the two pet stores I visited didn't have anything that fit and what they did carry only had one place for adjustment. It is safe enough for Belle, the cat, to wear it all the time. I check it numerous times during the day (she is a lap cat) and all is good. So glad I found Red Dingo Classic Harness...

A good fit, even for big cats!
I have a very BIG Chubby Maine Coon cat (he's 18 lbs). This fit him perfectly with room to spare! The clips give me a little trouble, but I think it might be my fingernails getting in the way. Overall, I'd rate this 5 stars, it is much better than ANY other harness I've tried on my cat.

Stays on well, but clips are difficult to fasten
I'd give this a 5 for staying on, as it's the first we found that he can't get out of, but the clips are too small and the skinny straps twist easily when putting on the chest part and then the tiny clip won't fasten, so I'd give 1 star for that. He can slip the chest part if he tries, but not the neck.

The harness is great. After loosening the harness to be much larger than my cat I was able to get this on her without her being upset. The leash is nice too. My cat cannot escape this harness once its tighten to the correct size. The whole set is perfect for outdoor outings or for traveling.

I had trouble finding a harness to fit my big cat. This one fits and I have started the training.

My cat loves it!
I bought this year before last with my birthday money and my cat loves it. It is easy to adjust and clip on. As soon as she has it on she goes straight to the door ready for her walk! The two strap design of the harness means that there is more room for movement when she walks. Unlike the mesh harnesses which she doesn't like and moves weirdly in. The lead is a good length and has a very comfortable handle. I would highly recommend.
