These were really cheap as an "add on" item when I bought them, and I was impressed enough with their build quality that I bought a couple more Jonard tools (channel lock style slip joints). These made in China needle nose are comfortable, the casting look and fit well together, and the loosened up nicely after working them a bit. Look, feel and work like a quality tool.

Really nice pliers for fiber splicing. I only use the jonard pliers. Has different stuff on the pliers also. Id definately buy again. And thank you for the sticker that came with it ill be sure to put it on my truck!

Great pliers

Love these pliers. They fit well in your hand and have great features. I really wish the diagonal cutter potion was longer though. It doesn’t cut very wide materials which for me is a problem and forces me to have to carry a separate set of diagonal cutters as a result. Wish they were bigger in that area otherwise these are a very nice and well made tool

Great pair of pliers for telephone wiring

Great pair of pliers for telephone wiring. The stripping hole is perfect to strip without cutting or overly bending your wire. The crimper is further back than on the JIC-891 but does the job for most situation and you can't complain as you get the needlenose functions. I find this tool really useful and I love it.

Great crimper for occassional use or spare

Great as a backup crimper, but if you do a lot of crimping in small spaces, you might want to get a dedicated crimper because the needle nose jaws get in the way and make me nervous about damaging other wires when I'm working in poor light conditions.
