It's lightweight

Comfortable, but lightweight

Not a bad rolling pin. Fits comfortably in my hands. But it really is too light to use on dense breads or thick pastry crusts. I chose to display it on the wall in my kitchen rather than use it.

A classic at a very good price

This reminds me so much of the rolling pin I grew up with that had been passed down to my mom from her great grandmother. It's big but not stupid big, with the roller part coming in at just about 10 inches and nice big wide handles. Smooth rolling surface and holes to hang it up if you like. It's not as heavy as the marble one we use for rolling out candy and other heavy stuff, but is just right for breads, cookies, and pie crusts. So far, so good. Keep these clean and they will last forever. I like this one a lot!

Good Rolling Pin

This is a good rolling pin. The description is pretty accurate except the size of mine is just a bit off. My end to end length is close to 18 inches vs. description of 17.5 inches. The roller is 10.25 inches vs. description of 9.75 inches. The size is close enough for me. The material feels like nice solid heavy wood and the rolling action is good and smooth. There are holes in the handle if you want to hook it up. I bought this to crush candies which it does well. I like this rolling pin a lot! Btw, I got this as part of the Amazon Vine Program.

Great rolling pin

This hardwood rolling pin is definitely heavy duty and should last a long time. The rolling function is very smooth. The rolling pin has a wide diameter and has some weight to it, and it is a great shape and size for rolling cookies, biscuits etc... The length of the rolling pin is about 10 inches on mine, so a bit larger than the length listed in the item description. I recommend this product.

Quality Rolling Pin

Well built, works perfectly and even looks nice. About the only thing I need a rolling pin for is Pizza dough. And it handles that with no problems. Highly recommended.

Ready to Make Homemade Pizza

I got this as a replacement to the ceramic one my son broke when he dropped it. This one is great. Super durable and doesn’t break when falling off the counter. Heavy so you know it’s good. Rolls super smooth. Great for Friday night pizza nights!

Lightweight and great quality

I am so happy with this wooden rolling pin from Chicago Metallic. It's very nicely made, and the quality is excellent. Very smooth and comfortable to hold. Rolls easily and is easy to clean. Great for pie crusts, pizza, cookies, etc. The price is reasonable and it is just as nice as more expensive rolling pins that I have owned. Very satisfied with it.
