Very flimsy

I am giving 3 stars because my daughter really enjoyed making these, but the components were super flimsy and broke quickly. She made all the necklaces and broke them all almost immediately ???? So I can’t recommend this product as its very pricey for essentially not having any of the necklaces last longer than a day or two.

Fun Project for a Birthday Party

Very cute, easy project for the kids. We ended up using a glue gun to make them sturdier and get the project done faster (they wanted to wear them). The necklaces are very cute, with ribbon chains and paper butterflies. Being made from paper and ribbon, they aren't terribly sturdy. After wearing one to pre-school for a couple days, the charm fell off the butterfly wing and then the ribbon chain broke. That said, my little tom boy plays hard. But, these would definitely be a hit for a birthday party activity or just with a little girl that wants a variety of fun necklaces.

Not all that creative but a fun party activity

I bought this for a second/third grader slumber party. The instructions and activity were easy enough for them to do on their own. The creativity ends at selecting colors but the kids had fun and wore their necklaces for the remainder of the party. They turned out well. Basically there are sets of butterflies in different colors,sizes, and materials. A butterfly is chosen from each set and stacked and double-sides taped together to form the pendant which is then strung onto a provided ribbon necklace.

Great Product But was Missing a Piece

My daughter and I really enjoyed making necklaces together. However. we were missing one of the clear butterflies and two had been punched out already. I think I may have got one that someone returned without all the parts. Aside from that, it is a great craft.

Captivating Craft

Purchased the Butterfly necklace kit for a 7 year old girl. She loved the steps involved, intricate yet simple enough for her to work on alone and to be creative with. The necklaces are very pretty, delicate and sparkle. The toy was such a success that we bought is again for another child.

We purchased for a crafting party and these did not disappoint - they are very easy to assemble. We were working with a small group of soon to be 3rd graders. It was a really cute little project and everyone loved them.

Excellent gift

This is perfect for a birthday gift for a girl... They are fun to make! Only problem is that you make a couple necklaces and it's over. Still, always a hit for a birthday gift, and the kids LOVE it.
