Excellent BBQ/SMOKER
Works great! I can control.the temp on this really easy but I did have to add a fireproof felt strip on the perimeter top and bottom edge to seal the lid to the base and keep air from coming in. It's 40lbs but made.of thick guage steel. I got a mobile cart that collapses but it's for an different BBQ that is heavier. Had to modify the top of the cart to hold the grill in place when dragging it from the car to the park or beach. I used a Mr. Steak cart. If Oklahoma Joe made a collapsible cart similar to Mr Steak's cart it would not have.cost me nearly as much.

Best portable charcoal grill
The design allows for versatility yet is not over complicated. I really like the heavy steel construction, when necessary it is easy to take apart and clean/oil. Being that it is steel, this is something I try to stay up on to prevent rust. I have seen some 1-2 star reviews due to one leg being 1/4-1/2 inch short. That seems to be the case with mine too, but the plastic caps at the bottom of each leg pop out easy enough, I just shortened the other 3 legs to match and put the caps back in. I have an awesome grill now, I saw such a small detail as no reason to complain. I won’t mention names but we had a pellet grill for a while, the same brand EVERYONE has, but it started having electrical issues. A BBQ shouldn’t have “electrical issues”.. after smoking our first whole chicken, the wife and I are back on charcoal and loving it. We definitely made the right choice.

Super grill at a reasonable price
I would say it is water resistant but it's never gotten wet and I bought a cover so it probably won't get wet. It appears very durable but again, I just bought it and it's too soon to say. I have used it twice in the first week just for grilling and I absolutely love the performance. It's easy to use and a perfect size for family use. I'm anxious to try smoking as I believe it will do a great job. the temperature is easy to control. I'm sure I will get a number of years of good service from this grill. It is also fairly heavy so there's no fear of knocking it over.
