Fit a 1965 ELJER toilet

We just bought a house with two 1965 Eljer toilets. Was going to replace them but figured I would try replacing the guts. Glad I did, works great and stopped “phantom” flushing. It was very hard to find info out there on parts or even pictures so wanted to write a review for anyone else out there in my situation

Worked out great.

It fit like a champ, and helped me when the tank ball installed in a 60 year old American Standard tank fell apart. Just as an FYI, the Toilet Tank Ball I got is red. As I'm a whole lot less concerned about the internal decor of the tank, versus the functionality, it's no big deal. Bottom line, it works!

Toilet Tank Ball

The part came in a reasonable time; price was O.K.; it fit my 80 year old wooden tank toilet perfectly and stopped the annoying minor leak that it had.

Perfect fit

I have two 1950's era toilets made in Canada by Canadian Potteries Limited that use this vertical dropping toilet tank ball. They stopped selling them in my area at all the big box stores a couple of years ago. I am very happy to have been able to purchase this product and it works very well. I purchased several to have spare parts for the future as the ones I used to buy would eventually lose their seal effectiveness due to a deterioration in the material and I am hoping this one will be better. The model I used to purchase was about half the price of this one.
