Love these winter pants!

For my snow trip, I decided to try these pants for in between skiing and to keep warm. I am 5.3 and 137 lbs, so I tried the 6-8 ones in black first. When they arrived, they looked and felt great, even though they were a bit large. I was able to pull them up above my belly button, however, the length was ok and they felt extremely comfortable and soft. Undecided, I also ordered one size smaller - 4-6 in green. They arrived quickly and fit great, although a little snug. I took both with me on my ski trip, but I ended up only wearing the larger ones because they were much more comfortable with my long underwear underneath, and I stayed pretty warm in minus 19 degree weather. I still want to keep the smaller pants, too, as they look cute and fit just fine without long underwear. However, for those really cold days in the snow, the bigger pants are better when wearing long pants underneath, and they look just as cute as the smaller ones. The smaller ones will be better for cold, but not freezing temperatures. The pants size 6-8 were long, but not too long and they did not touch the ground when wearing my boots. The shorter 4-6 ones were perfect for my height and they are a little more snug and fitting. However, they would be too tight / uncomfortable with long underpants underneath. All in all, these pants are really cute for snow play and cold winter days. They are soft, lined, and they will keep you warm, comfortable and dry. They also have cool easy to reach pockets, which came in really handy during our activities. I highly recommend them for winter days. For really tall people, I am not sure they are long enough.

Warm, lightweight, and adjustable waist make these pants a great value!

I did not have high expectations for these pants, which were less than half the cost of comparable pants from brand names. I also questioned their efficacy since they seemed so thin. But these pants kept me warm and dry while I played in the snow. I didn't even need a layer of insulation underneath. Also, the adjustable hybrid waist with both elastic and snap closures made these pants quite comfortable. The only "con" was that the adjustable waist did ride up/down (primarily down) a bit as a bent and moved while sledding. However, this was not a problem worthy of losing any stars. I probably could have avoided it if I had ordered a size smaller.

Nice to be able to find some well-made ski pants in a little larger sizes I’m really liking some of the clothing items on finding out Amazon the xx L is super hard to find in stores and a nice thick snow pants like this it’s waterproof it is a must for our winter activities does really happy to find this.

Size runs small

I got my mom a 2xl so she could layer underneath. The problem is they fit like a small!!! She still wears them she just cant layer underneath. The plus side is they do keep her warm.

Not for the curvy woman.

I typically wear size 16 W- I’m on the short side (5’3”)- these fit snug/ and seemed to grab my pants when I put them on - so the liner was a little bunched up. Even with snow boots- too long for me. I ordered a 2xl- too snug I purchased two pair at a time- assuming one would not work. Glad I did- these will go back, just doesn’t fit my womanly shape well & would be uncomfortable to be active in. I ended up going with the Columbia Moutain Modern 2.0 snow pants with adjustable waist

Fits very well doesn't look baggy at all. Fits a bit snug over the ski boots. Has nice inner lining that go in the boots to keep you dry. Doesn't breath as well as you'd hope . for the price looks great and does the job. It doesn't work like a $200 pant, but you don't pay anywhere near that either.

Soft, not noisy, warm.

I really wanted these pants to fit me right! I put them on 3 different times and walked around in them. While they were nice and soft, warm, and didn't make a lot of swish noise while I walked, the fit was off. I don't think of myself as having a big butt, (although I do have larger thighs), they were too snug across the bottom of the butt section. The waist fit great! I ended up returning them.

Iceland Ready

I purchased a size bigger that the chart suggested based on previous reviews. As such I had extra room in the waist. These pants are Super warm. I used them on an all day tour of the south coast of Iceland including a Glacier trio and I felt nothing. The elastic of the inner shell allowed the top of my boots to fit nicely underneath. Love the added orange-eed writing.
