Don’t make them like they used to

I replaced an original American made plate from around 1965 with this. Cheaply made, it bows when you mount it even if you keep the screws so loose that it jiggles. Cheap material mostly, if it were heavier it would be fine or a less malleable aluminum. The old one I replaced was firm and sturdy and would have lasted another 50 years but the finish was stained. I’ll be lucky to get a few years out of this before I seek out a better quality version. Been said many times before but it’s true: they absolutely don’t make things like they used to, sadly. Meaning good workmanship, solid materials. This looks nice from a distance but when you feel it and install it, you know it was made with thoughts about cost and profit rather than something that is sturdy and built to last.

Timesaver is lifesaver!

Exactly as expected. Quality product was quickly delivered. This plate is very hard to find and even the local electrical suppliers were going to take weeks to deliver. Helped me get a final inspection without having to give property a temporary solution and no return trip to install one plate.

Fast shipping and good quality. We looked everywhere for a replacement for my great aunt's crappy plastic one that cracked in half. None of the major hardware stores carry one for this many toggles. She was really pleased with it after I installed it for her.
