Good if not using to feed other receptacles.

Could barely fit just using the line side. I cut off the load side to make it fit and it has been working fine.

Beware, this unit is deep and requires a deep box.

It was easy to install, but my old GFI box was not deep enough for this to fit snug against the wall. Unless you can get all the wires out of the way it will stick out proud from the drywall.

Works, but…

Product works well, but I’d go with another/more expensive version of this that has screw terminals on the sides if I had to do it again. The extra wires and wire nuts on the backside make it nearly impossible to install in most wall boxes without completely tearing them up on the inside. Especially if it’s a two gang box with another plug or switch beside it.

Chalk it up to me being a novice electrician. I simply know how to replace outlets or upgrade an outlet as in this case swapping out my GFCIs with one that has USB ports. The problem at hand is that this device comes with the wiring sticking out of the back of the GFCI, unlike all the other outlets that I have, where I need to insert the wiring from within the wall into the back of the slots of the outlet. With the included cables and the wiring that already existed in the box, this caused a spacing problem for me. Perhaps if I was more versed in how to maneuver the wiring I may be could have fed some of the wiring out of the box to open up room so you skillful electricians will not find this as a negative. However, for me I didn't want to tinker too much with it, so I found another GFCI offering on Amazon that did not come with dedicated wires attached to it. I never really got an opportunity to test it so I can't speak too much on the fact if I got it wired up how well it worked. But given the history of me buying all kinds of outlets and GFCIs from Amazon, these things tend to work just great

Product Usefulness

This item will be going into my new house. I've always had issue with charging my phone at my old house. I'd have to unplug other items just to charge my phone, or my husband would want to charge his phone at the same time. With this socket; both of those problems will be solved. I also feel confident that I won't be having any issues with this product. It seems to be very well made. Plus, the installation instructions are very clear.

Convenient upgrade for tech

Product works as described. Over all size is larger than standard electrical outlets. Limited space for wiring and outlet in standard box. It took some work but could be more than a DYI install. Over all great upgrade in kitchen and bathroom.

Finally! These are now available to buy.

I guess with all the Covo and microchip shortages, these have been unavailable to purchase for over 2 years. I bought two of these as soon as I could. Leviton is a trusted, well-established manufacturer of ULC and CSA approved appliances and components. The only reason they are difficult to install, is because they take up a big chunk of real-estate in your wall-box. Not only will you need a deep wall-box for these (however, I assume you will be replacing an existing GFCI with this one), but if your existing box also served as a junction box for more than two a wiring cables used for the GFCI, you will need patience and ingenuity to safely squeeze this new receptacle and and all the wires and "Marr" connectors back into the wall-box. This GFCI receptacle comes with multi-strand 14G wires already assembled to connections INSIDE the GFCI, including wires for using this GFCI receptacle to contol other loads down the line. You will need to Marr-connect to these wires, and not any screw or push connectors on the outside surface of the GFCI receptacle. It DOES NOT COME WITH a 'Decora" cover plate. Once you get everything installed, it looks great, functions perfectly and really cleans up a messy looking receptacle that previously had 5VDC transformers plugged into it.

An all in one Receptacle

Like the other reviews, definitely a deep receptacle. Put it in a 3” deep box in the bathroom. Simple fix, just added a box extension and that provided the extra depth needed for this device. .

Avoid

Its too deep for any box, it has wires coming out that you have to use, means that you cannot attach wires directly to the plug but rather attach to the built in wires coming out, not a smart design. I had ro cut some length off the wires, search the market for the deepest box i can find and hardly push in with force. This is bad
