Simple but secure

This lock is lightweight, durable, and most importantly, secure. I got this lock to use at the gym. I leave it on my backpack 24/7 so I don’t forget it when I go to the gym… I never notice it’s there, not clunky or overly heavy. Easy to set and change combo as well

As advertised

I got this for my laptop top bag. Easy in and out. And the cambo just in case. Would have preferred 4 pin cambo. The key and lock is almost Flimsy. I wouldn’t say this would probably keep anybody out indefinitely. but it would definitely slow them down to catch them in the act. And just enough to deter anyone.

Love these little locks!

Secure enough for my needs, easy to reset the lock combination and functions smoothly. Just the right size and comes with two backup keys. I love these!

Lock Shows Wear After First Use

I used this on a checked bag. When I got the bag the hard plastic body of the lock was scuffed up pretty bad. The braided metal loop was fairly stressed but had held. I think the lock, being able to hang free an inch from the zippers, caught on a conveyer belt or some other kind of mechanical handling. The lock held so I'd consider it strong enough, but I would not recommend this style of lock for a checked back. Any place else you'd need security, like a hotel room, or in a situation where to get the lock to fit you need the extra loop room it would work fine. The convenience of both having a key or the dial combo is a nice option. My experience with the airline might have just been a single extreme occurrence. I did use the lock on the return where it again worked fine.

Waste of time

Lock was broken .Not able to fit wire into slot. Easy return at least.

Does the job

I ordered two of these because I wanted the set that has keys as a back-up just in case something goes wrong with the combination lock. Delivery was super quick - two days (Good job Amazon!) The lock seems very well built and should act as a good deterrent. However, if someone really wants into your baggage there isn't anything you will be able to do about it.
