Great replacement part

I bought this to replace my worn out wheel on my dryer. The bearing went out on the old one. I installed this wheel fairly easily and it's been running great since I bought it years ago

I am giving this three stars because the description is totally wrong, but there is no way to report it to have it corrected. The rollers work fine. Note, there are also better prices out there, and you will need four of the rollers to do the job right. It makes no sense just replacing two rollers if you have a dryer torn apart. Also, if the shaft is not damaged you can just pop off the roller wheel and put it on the old shafts.

YOU can replace with a bit of PATIENCE, and very little skill!

OEM replacement for our LG Dryer - buy the whole roller assembly not just the roller!!! Chose to only replace front rollers on a 8 year old LG dryer that was making noise when running. I watched several times a You Tube video showing process and then took my time to make happen. Each dryer a bit different than videos so just think the process out. End results were outstanding! Since you have the front open take the time to clean as much lint from all areas that you can. We found our blower fan STUFFED with lent. MY total repair time was 1.5 hours with patience. Take photos of each screw (sets) removal step and keep each step separate and make reassembly easy. IF YOU chose to do all four make sure you also get a belts and an Idler spring and roller too. IF was was going to do all four I would take dryer to the garage so I could have lots of space. Once finished we felt we had a new dryer with a much faster dry time. $45 saved us at least a $350 SERVICE CALL.

These fit GE dryers made by LG - save $$

What you may not know is that LG made quite a few clothes dryers for GE. GE is notorious for 'gouging' for parts. They change the part number of this wheel and charge from $31 ~ $38 each roller, often without the shaft included. I did some research and found that these wheels/rollers (whether genuine oem, 'approved oem', or just plain generic (I think all from Korea) will fit the following dryer model #ers: DPGT650EH0MG , DPGT650EH0WW ,DPGT650GH0MG , DPGT650GH0WW , DPGT750EC0PL ,DPGT750EC0WW , DPGT750EC1PL , DPGT750EC1WW ,DPGT750EC2PL , DPGT750EC2WW , DPGT750GC0PL ,DPGT750GC0WW , DPGT750GC1PL , DPGT750GC1WW ,DPGT750GC2PL , DPGT750GC2WW , PTDN800EM0WW ,PTDN800GM0WW , PTDN805EM0MS , PTDN805GM0MS ,PTDN850GM0WW , PTDS850EM0WW , PTDS850GM0WW ,PTDS855EM0MS. They've also been updated by this number that has a decidedly more narrow rubber edge: LG Dryer Roller Assembly DE2002A - REPLACES 4581EL2002C 4581EL2002A 4581EL2002B Four stars for now until some time is put on them. You don't have to always buy 4 but however many you are replacing you should get a new shaft included (these come with the new shaft - you reuse the old nut and washers). There seems to be a very, very light oil on the shaft. People refer to these erroneously as having bearings (lol) it's just a shaft and a 'bushing' spins on it. I don't believe you should add lubricant to them, just install as they are. (unsticking an old frozen shaft & bushing with some spray teflon dry film is a different story though)

Perfectly quiet again!

We got a matching set of red LG washer and dryer back in 2008 and have had no issues until now. All of a sudden it sounds like there are a couple of bricks rolling around in the dryer... Read that it could possibly be a roller so I ordered a couple of these assemblies as there are 4 and I didn't know how many would be bad. Come to find out it was only one that was causing the whole problem! The lower one on the right in the back had no bearing left in it and was eating through the plastic assembly out of the wheel! Popped this bad boy on there and tightened it all up, now we have a quiet dryer again! Very pleased with this assembly! Now to replace the drain pump on the washer... Hopefully $60 in parts is my ticket to many more years of service out of my 10 year old set of appliances!

Exactly what I needed

The dryer had developed a thermostat problem after disassembling, I discovered a frozen drum wheel on the rear. The drum had been sliding on one spot for quite some time and wore a flat spot on the wheel. I freed the wheel and lubed it. the drum was bumping on the flat spot and was quite loud, so I ordered parts. After the wheel arrived, I found it included the wheel, the plastic clips and a new axle. Very nice. I downgraded the rating for easy to install, because it really was not that easy to move the drum out and remove enough parts to get at the mounting nut.

Great product! Worked like a charm for me!

My dryer was making a horrible noise. I googled it and thought it was most likely the roller assembly. Ordered 4 wheels. Followed the instructions on a YouTube video and voila! Totally fixed! I only needed one wheel and was able to return the other three by dropping them off a Kohl’s. Super easy! Took me about 2 hours but I did it slowly and a lot of that time was spent cleaning the inside of the dryer. Could have probably done it in an hour, but either way I saved a bunch of money and felt super accomplished to have done it myself! Additionally, I waited a while to make sure the new wheel held up. It’s been in place for 3 months and holding up strong. Would totally buy again and strongly recommend!

Without tearing into my dryer I googled noisy dryer and discovered what I thought was a common problem so I bought not just one but two of these roller assemblies so I would have the parts when I tore into my dryer. I did discover that these are genuine parts but I also discovered that apparently the only problem with my dryer is that a ton of lint had accumulated in what looks like a blower housing and it also accumulated in the duct beneath the lint screen along with a couple of coins. I did replace one of the front roller assemblies even though I really don't think it needed to be and I vacuumed out all the lint I could get to and then put dryer back together. HOLY COW! that thing is now quiet.
