Real nice shirt, but design fades a bit after a few washes...

This is a real nice Grateful Dead shirt, and design. I get a lot of compliments for it, and it's not a thin shirt, like so many vendors sell these days. The shirt itself looks and feels like a proper 'old school' shirt with thicker material. However, the design itself has started to fade a bit after just a few wears and washes (in cold water, no less). I was hoping it wouldn't, like some other much better quality tees I have. You would think that in 2023, after decades of manufacturing tees, the industry would have figured out how to print t-shirt designs that don't fade quickly.
