Warning: the finish does not match the brass color as shown on Amazon!

The lamp was exactly as described, with one exception: the finish was NOT antique brass! It was a dark, steely gray looking finish with a slight brass undertone. Since I had looked long and hard for this size and shape lamp, I did not want to send it back. Instead, I took a gamble and applied brass-colored gilding wax and spray paint. It was a LOT of work because it's hard to reach all surfaces of the bars, inside and out. It came out OK, and no one really notices that it was painted since it's up and away on the ceiling, but it sure would have been nice if the original finish was actually antique brass and I didn't have to go through all that work!!!
