Makes installing screws so much easier.

This makes installing screws a one handed operation. The magnet holds the screws parallel with the drill shaft so that the screws go in straight. And so inexpensive. Wish I would have bought this years ago.

It works great. Especially useful when using self drilling screws. Some have mentioned it only works with Dewalt bits; I only have Dewalt bits, so I can’t attest to that. My bits are about 2.25” in length as measured, but I don’t know what the package said when I purchased them. Note that you cannot set the bit to the furthest position inside the chuck on a standard drill. That will cause the device to push too far forward and not allow full engagement to the screw. Some have complained it doesn’t leave enough of the bit exposed. In my use that was only possible with user error, but different bit brands/lengths possibly cause this issue as well. Also, I found this very easy to remove and attach to a different bit. Just pull some tension while twisting back and forth. There are spring loaded detent balls for retention. Good stuff and highly recommend.

Product NOT as Advertised

I have several 2" impact bits, from all different brands, I bought this magnetic sleeve hoping I could use it on my impact bits, Turns out this is a 2 1/4" magnetic impact sleeve (not the advertised 2" model) The issue is that this bit will NOT fit on your Milwaukee's or Makita's or 2" Dewalt bits If this was indeed the 2" model that is advertised on Amazon it would fit all your impact bits, this is just simply not the case with this product. Dewalt went and changed there bits from 2" to 2 1/4" without changing any of there product numbers, resulting in people buying stuff like this and having no use case for it. Now the question is do I return this or do I buy a $50 Dewalt 2 1/4" bit set. Really shady marketing move by Dewalt I am sure I am not the only one with this issue,

Punta mala calidad

El sistema funciona de maravilla si ayuda muchísimo, lamentablemente la punta se desgasto a la primera, otro problema que le encuentro es que solo sirve en las mismas puntas Dewalt, termine por comprarme este modelo Norske Tools NIBCI331 que es mucho mejor tanto en calidad como en fuerza de imán mucho mejor.

Mi nueva aliada en el trabajo

Funciona muy bien para pijas punta de broca, el imán es bastante fuerte para sostener cualquier pija, el imán se puede quitar y dejar solo la punta, funciona bastante bien el único detalle es que la rebaba metálica se le junta mucho por el magnetismo pero una vez quitándolo vuelve a ser funcional y me hubiera gustado que fuera amarilla porque en la obra cuando se cae es muy fácil perderla

Not for all bits!

This is a great product, but be aware that it will not work with all bits. I have Bosch impact bits of the same size as the one provided and this doesn't fit. If you already use Dewalt bits this size this is a fantastic product. If you don't you would be better off going with a bit guide/sleeve.

Not exactly as shown

I love these metal type sleeves (better than the plastic ones) however the ones that I received are not the same as the one shown in the picture. The ones I received are twice as long as the one in the picture. The longer sleeves limits the type of bits I can put it on and it limits the space I can access for certain situations. Honestly, if I initially saw that it was the longer sleeves type, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place and settled for the plastic sleeves instead.
