PL1R Metal Stud Crimper se vyznačuje jedinečným tvarem razníku a matrice, který vytváří pravoúhlé zalisované spojení ohýbáním přes vrstvené tloušťky kanálu a čepu najednou, aby se vytvořilo pevné spojení bez použití spojovacích prvků. Framing 2x as fast

This simple tool made my last project take half the time or more. I used it to install metal studs in a basement renovation. Over 1000 sqft. I was able to install every stud in a day. Towards the end of the day it started getting a little harder to clamp them but that’s expected. If you can’t close it easily with one hand, especially at the start of the job the problem isn’t the tool… it’s your weak hands, rather then complain go work out. This tool will make you money.

Great, solid product

Great solid product. Money well spent. Be advised these are only good up to 22ga. Anything bigger (ie: 20ga) crimping becomes difficult and the punch gets stuck. I still use em for 20ga though all the time.

you would think this punch makes the job easier, well it does not, it takes a considerable amount of force to achieve the what you need and the grip opens too wide you will be using both hands most of the time which beats the purpose, and if your using it daily or often you will realize your hand will start getting tiered after the first 10 punches especially when you have like 100 to 200 hundred punches to do, i would not recommend this product, but i would recommend a battery or electric punch which does have alot more force punching wise which will penetrate gauges 24,22,20 fast and easy unlike this one works fine on 24 gauge metal studs but you cant do 22 and 24 gauge as easy.

Very well made tool. I have no idea what the other reviewers were complaining about, but I crimp about 400 20 gauge studs a day with this thing. Unless you're a little Nancy, that has forearms like a pencil pusher, it goes through 20 gauge studs like butter all day long.

Great

I do residential basement remodeling. All of framing is with metal studs. Using screws on metal studs is time consuming and it slightly bumps out drywall. Using the crimper is really fast and keeps the frame perfectly straight. If you do metal framing, you will make up the price of the crimps pretty quickly. You save a bundle on using framing screws.

Not great quality and can be frustrating, but it works.

The crimper broke after a few days. (The piece that receives the punch pin fell off. ) but I was able to fix it with aluminum tape. Need two hands to operate because the pin gets stuck in the steel stud. It should be good enough to finish my basement job.

Do not buy !!

Do not buy anything from this seller, I crimped nine holes through basic tin studs on the tenth the die fell out,absolutely sub standard .

very bulky to carry with one hand while holding steel stud in the other. Not good for tight spaces, we used it for an hour or so and put it away

The product was as described, it does however have a maximum use of 22 guage metal. I used it on 20 guage metal which worked but not as well as the product is hopefully supposed to work.
