Many virtues, but eggs stick to it

I like having this sort of spatula to use in my nonstick pans, but the spatula itself is the opposite of nonstick. I find eggs stick to it easily, and don't even come off in the dishwasher. They have to be scraped off. Frustrating!

Longer flat area gives more room over standard spatula

We had no problem (as others apparently did) with receiving an actual Matfer Bougeat unit. We're extremely pleased with it. It has no problem fitting two large pork chops on it and doesn't bend under their weight. It has a sharp-ish leading edge that makes getting under your food very easy. Sliding between fried eggs and a cast-iron skillet seems easier than with our other plastic spatulas. Recommended!

Really great

Needed a spatula that wouldn’t damage my nonstick pans. This is one of the few times in life where something inexpensive works exceptionally well.

Another example of prejudice against Left Handers :)

This is a fine spatula. light weight, flexible, sturdy, all the things one would want in a spatula, as long as you are right-handed, which I am not. BUT, as an example of how left handers are flexible people, I am successfully using this instrument to its full benefit. Butter knives also drive me crazy :) FYI and having nothing to do with this review, in Latin, the word for "Left" is "Sinister." "Right" is "Dexter." So, if one is "dexterous," one has 2 right hands. If you have 2 left hands, you're just SOL.

Nice spatula but no bend whatsoever

The size of the spatula is great but wish there was just a tad of flexibility. Even my metal one seems more flexible. It will do the job but not my fav.

Great Spatula

I'm really happy with this spatula. It's lightweight, the handle isn't too long. I like the angled edge, it makes it easy to get under food without smooshing it. And then, you can just throw it in the dishwasher. Very happy with it!

Issues with the handle and slotted design prevent me from giving it a higher rating

The slotted design is perfect for draining excess liquid from the food I'm cooking, and the nonstick surface is safe to use with my nonstick cookware. One of the things I appreciate about this spatula is its versatility. It can be used to flip and turn a variety of foods, including fish, burgers, and pancakes. It is also very easy to clean – I just rinse it under warm water and it is ready to use again. However, I did experience some issues with the Matfer Bourgeat Exoglass Pelton Slotted Spatula. The handle can sometimes feel a bit uncomfortable to hold, and the slotted design can sometimes let small pieces of food fall through. Overall, I would rate the Matfer Bourgeat Exoglass Pelton Slotted Spatula a 4 out of 5. It is a generally good spatula, but the issues with the handle and slotted design prevent me from giving it a higher rating.
