Basic princess dolls

If all you're looking for is a set of basic princess dolls, these'll fit the bill. They're well made, easy to play with and very recognizable for young kids. It's hard to get the dresses off so it's less likely that younger kids will lose the dresses and then be left with a half-dressed Rapunzel! For older kids though? They don't have ball joints, meaning their arms only move up and down, not side to side, limiting the play opportunities. Plus, due to the way the tops are molded, you can't really change the dolls' dresses which limits kids' storytelling options. My daughter ended up using them mostly as drop-in characters - that is, a princess who stops in to say "hi" but doesn't really interact much with the dolls she plays with most. So, if you're looking for a younger child's first fashion doll? I think this would be a great choice.

Beautiful princess dolls

This set of three princess dolls is just perfect for younger princesses. The dolls come with shoes and tiaras that can be removed but their clothes cannot which is a bonus because they don't get added to the collection of undressed babies and dolls. They also have coloring walls which is a bonus activity you can do or save for a rainy day. The dolls don't bend or move like many of the newer dolls do but again I'm thinking these dolls are more for younger girls, I gave them to my three going on four year old niece for her to play with at my house and she didn't care about the movement. She was immersed in imaginative play and happy as a clam. my house and she didn't give a care at all about the movement, she was

Stunningly constructed princesses

We adore the princess toys since they are so exquisitely designed and have no defects. Our 6-year-old daughter adored her gift. Also, there are 4 movie-specific scenarios that youngsters can draw and utilize for role playing. It can stand up straight and is neither hefty nor light in weight. The fact that the hands, legs, and necks all detachable makes it perfect for role playing and creating stories. It's a good value set with 3 princesses, in my opinion.

Standard Doll but not very posable

These are three Disney princess dolls which while looking true to character are not very interactive. My daughter doesn’t like the fact that the arms or legs don’t have a full range of motion and makes playing with a full size doll house or other interactive play with furniture a little difficult. They do look true to form and well put together otherwise, however there are better Disney dolls out there and I am hesitant to recommend this set.

Cute set of dolls for the Disney princess fan

My daughter loves these dolls but she did note some small complaints. Not enough so she couldn't enjoy them, but enough for her to mention it. As you can see in the photos, the dolls have their tops molded in plastic. Because of the details and puffy sleeves, it limits the opportunities to change their clothes. The skirts are fully removable. The dolls also have less mobility than the classic Mattel doll of a similar size. They can raise their arms up, but not up and out to the side. The shoulder just rotates in one direction as opposed to the more versatile ball joint style that other dolls have. The dolls are still a big hit though, and we would get them again, even knowing these slight drawbacks.

3 pack princess dolls

The dolls are similar in height as other similar shaped mattel dolls. The dolls have a soft flexible plastic but the bodies are the hard plastic with the top being part of the doll and cannot be removed. They each have long skirts, shoes (heels) and tiaras that can be removed and are interchangeable. It also comes with a white cardboard tri fold background that can be colored in too. Overall my 3 year old likes these but finds it difficult to put the skirts on but can get shoes on easily.

Great set I love so far!

The Disney Princesses dolls pack is very adorable and comes with a fun bonus activity of coloring the rooms. However, the colored walls may not last long. The dolls are not poseable as they don't have bendable knees and arms, making them look a bit static. They also can't be undressed (paint-on shirt and underwear), the quality of the dolls feels very good.
