Pricey but good

I spend 1/2 my time on the east coast and the other half in the Rockies at high elevation (about 7000'). These glasses are effective wherever I wear them...they are especially useful in the high altitude sun. The glasses are very expensive though. While somewhat durable they are not bulletproof and you need to be careful. They are pretty comfortable although in intense heat and humidity (on the east coast) they fog up sometimes. In fairness I chose a very full wrap style of glasses, you may have better luck with a model that has less of a wrap which may allow them to breath better. All that said, for 1/5 of the price you can get a fairly well made pair of Peppers and just replace them 'if' they ever get damaged.

Good pair of shades

I ordered the brown and the black and couldn't decide on which to keep. They are not as beefy as the Maui Jim's of old, but these cover my eyes and are recognized by the Skin Cancer Foundation. They are comfortable and they make everything look a bit more lustrous. The brown gives off a reddish tint, but the black is simply dark and more natural. I chose to keep the black pair to keep, even though both were very nice.

I've always appreciated the quality and style of my Maui Jim sunglasses.

Quality and style of real Maui Jims are the best in optical. The company that sent me this set of sunglasses did not include glass case and cleaning cloth and I find that very disappointing especially for the price I paid. I'm considering a return. The generic packaging doesn't give me confidence that these are genuine Maui Jim and I feel very uneasy about this purchase.

My favorite glassess

I love these for fishing, beach going , and just even driving. They are much lighter than Costa of which I have several pair. The clarity of the lenses is awesome as well as the fit. The only thing I'll say negative and it's not a big deal is that they cost the same-as do Costas everywhere you go, so I got a second pair of Maui Jim's that I tried on at a Sunglass place-same price, but I got a nice cloth bag to keep them in so I don't have to tote the case as I do with my first pair from Amazon-again no big deal though. try them-you'll like them!

They Make You Want To Buy Another Pair!

Maui Jim rocks! This is my second purchase from this company. MJ products exceed expectations and the company does too. I shattered a lense on my first pair after just 2 days. I contacted MJ and agreed to pay $60 for a replacement lens. I sent the glasses in to be fixed and got them back without charge because, according to MJ, the sunglasses were so new they deemed the repair warranty worthy. The style and colors of my latest pair make me feel better every time I slide them on.

Lentes rayados

He comprado dos veces estos lentes; a mis primeros lentes se les cayó un cristal, por lo que decidí comprarlos de nuevo, pero a menos de 6 meses se han rayado muchísmo. El "antiscracth" no es muy bueno, sinceramente puedo decir que no aguantan un rayón leve como otras marcas. Me ha decepcionado en cuanto a esa cualidad.

Todo muy bien con las gafas, primera compra todo muy bien y la segunda estuvo fatal los lentes no son lo que pedí al parecer venía abierto el paquete
