Bought for childs classroom activity. Only downside was the younger kids need help understanding how to peel the sticker and pop out the shapes. Teacher did not help the students so they wound up just coloring a whoke square not understanding the concept. This is a Melissa and Doug product so quality was good as expected.

Family fun!

These were purchased to be "home-made" presents for grandparents this holiday season. My 5 year old had a blast, and while my 3 year old initailly needed some help he soon got the hang of it. It quickly became a great family activity and the boys are excited to give them away as gifts from "us" this Christmas.

Dissappointed in the seller.....product defective.

There's something fishy going on with this light catcher kit being sold on amazon. I have seen this kits in Nasco (senior activities) catalog for $15. When I saw them for $5.87 on amazon, I grabbbed a kit for my adult day care class. Then a few days later I grabbed 2 more kits for $4.46, and thought what great luck I had. I took one kit to adult day care and got them ready for scratching. Problem was only 1 out of the 12 would scratch off. The black layer was stuck like glue to the others and would not scratch off properly.......were they defectively made??? I was very disappointed and was stuck at the last minute (literally) with a craft that would not work. And I am assuming that is why it was so cheap. I dumped the other kits in the trash. Now, a week later, they are back up to full price, $18 at the moment. It's sad to think the seller knew they were defecctive, and wanted to dump them for a few bucks.
