when installing a new shower take a picture of the studs so you can make sure you hit the studs.

It folds up out of the way. We put in a new bathroom and that finished it off.

For the Price It Could be Better

I bought this as a replacement to one I bought years earlier. Things sure change after time. I paid almost as much as I did the last one but this one is more cheaply made. The metal is not as thick as the one I replaced and my last one was made with Brazilian nut wood. However, this one is sturdy enough to sit on. It does fold and unfold easily. The only issue we really have with it is the teak wood. We had it for about a month and noticed the wood started feeling rough. My husband is going to sand it down and then apply a oil based coating which was a little pricey but it is difficult to find these folding chairs that mount to the wall. Whatever you do, don't buy unless it is a brand name. If you go with a cheaper one make sure it refundable and that they pay the for the return label.

Awesome Shower seat

Loved the look. The black finish matches our decor. Our builders told us to use the corner of a marble slab to put for a seat in our newly removed master bath. My friends said the slab would be cold & they never used. instead I ordered this versatile teak seat. Wow, it not only looks wonderful-and comfortable, great for seating and folds up and then stays out of the way. Truly a great purchase.

Great for the remodel

Remodeled my moms bathroom with a walk-in shower and the seat was a great add-on, it's very functional and I'm glad it folds up to allow more space. The one thing I did to to the seat was added tiki oil just to make it more water resistant and it made the wood a little smoother

This is a wonderful seat. It really needs professional installation if you are putting it in your shower. It needs two by fours. I absolutely love this. Got it for my 80-year-old mother. My next shower, I will have this installed for me. It’s perfect for shaving, sitting, other things in the shower
