Best lunch set of packable utensils I have found.
There are sets that are cuter, and the shape of the utensils is not perfect— I prefer slightly more tapered fork tines, an a deeper bowl on the spoon— but they are well within acceptable limits. More importantly, the case closes tightly and is easy to clean. You can put your used dirty utensils inside after eating and then put the case through the dishwasher with the utensils themselves. I can’t recommend this set highly enough!

Sturdy, Stylishly Designed, Entirely Functional: A+
IMPORTANT: This WILL set off metal detectors due to the layers of metal from the housed utensils, so I suggest handing off to the attendant before you even go through if you're ever in that situation. Regardless of that process that I repeated for 10 days out a 12-day activation - we decided to figure out what the offending item was on the second day, and I never needed to be stopped again after that - I am an extremely happy owner of this very thoughtfully-designed OXO product. I sometimes have modelling activations that go 12+ hours, and I hated having to remember to pack silverware every time I chose to pack a meal, and then needing to keep the silverware somehow isolated from everything else after usage to avoid getting anything dirty and ensure that the sharp points and edges weren't able to harm anything around it. While I've never forgotten to bring silverware, there have been too many occasions where it was a last-minute jolt of memory as I was heading out of the door, and I was not in favor of that minor backtrack becoming habitual. I checked out options at several local places between upscale home and digital nomad+outdoorsy stores, but most offerings were more camp-oriented and therefore not exactly appealing in form and appearance, plus they did not help with automatically keeping anything around the utensils clean and free of potential damage. At some point, I turned to OXO to see if an option existed among their products and found this gem. Not available in any local store, and no local options were worth considering in comparison, so an order it was. Arrived just in time for a 12-day activation. Sturdy hinged case that stays firmly closed yet still opens with ease, protecting the utensils perfectly. Decently lightweight without sacrificing weight for the form, function, or appearance of each piece. The utensils themselves handled well and would blend in at a dinner table far better than current competing options on the market. Bonus points for this being created in my favorite color. I rarely need a knife for a packed meal, so I typically leave the knife at home, which makes the case rattle a bit more due to the unused space. I always pack both the spoon and the fork just in case, and ended up helping a teammate who was scrambling for utensils at one point as result, so yay for automatic preparedness. I can see this remaining a part of my travel kit until OXO decides to upgrade it somehow. In the meantime, this sits atop my several HydroFlask meal containers, so I never need a reminder to pack silverware again.

Bought this silverware set to toss in my lunchbox for work. Love how compact it is and that it comes with a nice case to store it in. This would be perfect for camping too and I will be taking it with me on my next camping trip!

Good set
Could be more ergonomic, but they work well and the metal seems like real stainless. Was worried the fork would be too blunt, but it seems to work fine.

Perfect foe work
My husband's work place was always out of eating utensils. Found these for him. He says they work great and everyone in the break room has been asking where they can get them. They store nicely in the case.

Rattles and case came damaged
The case is not particularly fitted for the utensils so they rattle around loudly. Also because of the poor fit, the knife and spoon already damaged the case with a bunch of scratches. Wish it arrived looking more new.

Eine nachhaltige Alternative für alle Mahlzeiten!
Ich hatte es satt immer auf Arbeit Messer und Gabel in der Teeküche zusammen zu suchen, so dass ein eigenes Besteck in der Schreibtischschublade nur eine Frage der Zeit war. Mit diesem Artikel habe ich einen guten Treffer gelandet! Im Etui ist das Edelstahlbesteck sicher und platzsparend aufbewahrt. Die Ausführung des Bestecks ist wertig und das Messer schneidet gut. Ich lege großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit und kann mir dieses nützliche Utensil auch als Begleiter durch den Alltag vorstellen. Meinerseits eine klare Kaufempfehlung und über ein „hilfreich“ würde ich mich freuen!

Would not buy again
Both the spoon and fork have the smallest curving, which makes them difficult to eat with. In addition, the fork tips are very blunt, you have to literally stab your food for the tines on the fork to catch it.
