-Update-
The clutch FAILED miserably after 8 months of being installed and less than 4 months of use, as the weed-eater was put away for the season until earlier this month. The inside clutch parts are misaligned, causing it to grab all the time. This caused the clutch to grab and overheat- to the point that the clutch is discolored and the plastic housing around the weed-eater has MELTED! I didn't notice it over heating until I saw melted, deformed red plastic oozing around where the clutch is. The housing is a little deformed but will survive, and I now need a another clutch! My weed-eater had stopped working. The engine ran, but the string part wouldn't turn. I figured it had to be the clutch, so I ordered this one. It arrived quickly, installed easily, and my weed-eater runs like new again.

Received the item and it appeared to be perfect, but after installing it apparently my machine and ...
Received the item and it appeared to be perfect, but after installing it apparently my machine and the clutch were about 1/16" out of sync and the clutch would not turn. I really don't think it was the manufacturers fault, but they immediately worked with me and helped me to send the product back. I would definitely used the company again so this review is not negative but the product just did not work in my case.

only been installed for 2 months
and it's already slipping. used for my own personal residential needs only. but this is an official B&S replacement part. so i guess i'll have to just buy another one.

Inside screw was striped not happy

Just click start a replacement was exact replacement worked perfectly installed quickly fast service from sender very satisfactory. Will buy again if needed the original one lasted two years hopefully this will move last that long

Restored power to Sears mulithead gas engine trimmer
Installed into Sears 3588.796121 multi attachment gas (4 cycle red briggs/stratton) engine system. Restored lost power. Used with brush cutter, grass trimming, pole chain saw and roto-tiller/cultivator. Works well.
